My man Scottie....

"Star Trek: The Tholian Web (#3.9)" (1968)
Mr. Spock: [about theragen being a deadly Klingon nerve gas] If I remember correctly, it caused fatality only when used in pure form.
Dr. McCoy: That's right. And in this derivative, mixed with alcohol, it merely deadens certain nerve inputs to the brain.
Scott: Oh, well, any decent brand o' Scotch'll do that.
Dr. McCoy: Oh? Well, one good slug of this, and you could hit a man with phaser stun and he'd never feel it, or even know it.
Scott: Does it make a good mix with Scotch?
Dr. McCoy: It should.
Scott: [heading out with the beaker of theragen derivative] I'll let ya know.

Ah, sixties sci-fi. Here's a pic from UFO (about the same era). The hero had a full bar in his office (shown in pic) that he and his #2 would partake of most episodes... while smoking.

Good one:)
I would also have liked to try the tranya from The Corbomite Maneuver.
Great performance from a miniscule Clint Howard as Balock.

Cleaning didn't solve mine on its on for whatever reason. It would still want to stick, so I figured it was worth a try to apply the grease and it worked great.
next time try silicone, less likely to hold on dirt and dust. Also check the button for any cuts or ribs that might be catching, sand them out with up down motion not around.

I took mine apart today also to fix a leak. I've noticed juice collecting on my button under the cover and asked rob about it, then I watch super x's video and found out the nipple was loose so I took it apart and fixed it. I just keep wiping my button off as much as possible to get it dry again and as clean as possible. I have to do it that way cause when I installed the button cover I pressed it down until it stopped and now it's stuck on there pretty good. As a matter of fact, I don't think the aluminum cover is ever coming off, anyone else run into the same problem?

No need to take it off for a cleaning, just run a lot of warm water around the button while moving it. If you really want it off and it seems stuck use a thick piece of plastic to pry it off, do not use metal as that can damage the finish of the Reo. I just did this with one I could not pull off by hand.
