Not sure what you mean by a tip. I'm not good at visuals. There is a metal nipple, then the tube attaches to that, which goes through the top cap into the bottle.

Both pieces can be drilled out with a 11/64 bit.

The bottle with an arrow pointing to it. That's what I have, except the top cap is drilled out, there is a tube going through it and there is an oring inside. I unscrew the bottle and fill it. What's the more optimal way to do this? I'm a dummy, I still don't get it.

if you got one from reosmods.com it should come with an extra bottle. ed is talking about the nipple to that goes into it :)

Jamesfarrell, he's talking about the little nipple part of the bottle that pops into the bottle when you're not using it in the REO. Some people slice the top of that off to make the hole big enough to fit on your tube. Then instead of unscrewing the bottle to fill it, you just pop that out and the bottle comes off. There's a "bottle mods" thread around here somewhere. However, ed101z, I *think* that she really means that she actually pulls the whole tube/bottle off of the metal REO connector each time. To me, that seems like it would stretch the top of the tube over time. Guess she doesn't have any problems with it, though.

I have never looked at the spare bottle until now. There is the bottle, a nipple and a cover. So is what you are saying that some just don't use the screw on cover, but instead insert the tube through the nipple after lopping off the top of the nipple to insert the tube through it. That way you don't have to unscrew the cap, but instead just pop the nipple off with the tube through it?

The pic below is what I have, standard screw top, hole in it, tube though, o-ring

What do you mean you don't like your tube attached? Trying to picture this.

My Reo has taken several 6' dives. Once in fact it took a 7' dive off my railing in my garage onto the cement floor. The delrin drip tip got scuffed, everything else was fine.

My tube is not attached. It's free! Sorry for the crooked pic. Sort of like me.

Heh - and you do what for a living? :)

Exactly, I've already got a job.. plus every one in my family is technology challenged, so thats my side gig.. the pay SUCKS! lol

"Hey, you know computers, right? Help me with this application you know nothing about and have never seen before... You DID go to school for software engineering..."
That's like going to a pediatrist and asking about chronic migraines you've been having.. not saying s/he cant help, but it's not really their specialty :)

There are some little square soy sauce bottles out there that work in our Minis and they hold 6ml of juice. If you're interested in trying them, PM me and I'll send you a handful. They would solve the only "problem" left for you and your Mini.

Can you post a link to these bottles, pretty please!
