That would be a pupa, would it not?

Edit: Gee, I sure know how to kill a thread, don't I?

Dark side of the moon
Greetings all,

I know I've been gone for quite a while. Things took a dramatic change for the worse regarding the situation with my son. It's not something I want to discuss and when it happened I shut down and closed up. I'm still here, though I don't think I'll be going back to catch up on the thread. I'm afraid that'd be a bit much for me.

Anyway, wanted to stop by and say hello. I think of everyone here all the time and decided it was time to come out of sequestering myself from the world. I hope you are are doing well and I'm going to try to be around going forward. There are just too many good people here and being a hermit really didn't do me much good. So I apologize for my extended leave of absence.

Good news is that even though things got very ugly, very fast, and still are to this day - I haven't once picked up an analog. My Reo has my back. And my desire to stay analog free is far, far greater than any urge to go back.

Kind Regards,
Fleet

Thanks! Me too. I know folks come and go, but I'm not one of them. I may disappear for a bit, but if I do then there's a good reason for it. And I'll always find my way back :)

I've been listening to music tonight (no surprise there) and I thought of you just tonight. Heard one by Jamey Johnson. Love him and I bet you play some of his stuff. Your beard is nicer. :sneaky:

Good Sunday Morning REOVille. Hang in there, Fleet. My Grandmother (who was so Catholic she had 15 children) used to tell me life goes in circles. When you're up, don't get too sure of yourself because things always change. And when you're down, keep going 'cause better times are coming. I always thought of that as good advice.

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Looks very good, and I know it works good, or it wouldn't be dirty!

I'll have to try micros' on my Zatty' and Steam Turbine!

I was so embarrassed after this picture that I took it apart and cleaned it. Good point though, if it would have been clean you may have thought I was spoofing about micro coils working. :D

What surprises me is the perseverance one had to demonstrate in order to get a decent vape from those things!

If i were to get a tank atty these days, then the squape R looks the part, but ofc, it's like everything else - expensive and unavailable. Genesis atties taught me a lot of patience and my wife a wide vocabulary of swearwords listening to me.

The inventor of bottom-fed RDA's ought to be nominated for the Nobel peace prize.

Good to see you posting again Fleet, even if things turned out adversely for you.

I think the point is kayfuns are much easier to build on by and large.

I have a Russian91% coming soon for some scheme i am working on for a friend and i fancy my chances of getting coil #1 to work on that. Even if i dual coil it.

My recollection of Gennies (and i was rather a purist when i made them - only ss mesh as wick and so on), was that they vaped well, when you got them to work at all and they lasted ages before you needed to mess with them. The clean taste of the mesh was something a few of us tried to transfer to RM2's when they came out, using hybrid wicks. I don't recall those as a stunning success, but worth a try.

I don't use cotton at all. There's no point in having a wick that needs changing every 2 days and a coil that lasts a month.
