Good Morning REOVille from Mt. Gilead NC. Rough weekend, courtesy of a nasty head cold. Fever kept me from sleeping last night. I might just make it an early day when I get back to the yard.

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Hope you're feeling better soon, Brett. Some rest would probably do you well.

I live in an old building converted to apartments. It's huge. We have icicles about 8" at the base and 5 feet long. I'm going to put a steel plate in the top of my hat :) Plus we got another 4" of snow last night.

I can relate :)

Just a quick blast through to say Hi to all who know me...and Hello to all those I haven't met yet. Hope everyone is healthy.

I'm working foolish hours, trying to get caught up. Still taking my full contact Krav classes, which at my age of 50, at first seemed crazy. And yet I already know I will continue this style until I physically can't do it. We have snow banks 8 - 10 feet tall. g

I'm still working foolish hours and I got the snow contract for the paper so it's like old times. Working out in temps 15 degrees colder than I'm used to caught me off guard at first. I just wanna grill!

edit: I just realized I went flying right past my 3 yr anniv. Which is cool because right now its 3 1/4 yrs since my last stinky. Surreal...

Hey everyone! Been reading up on the posts since last night but I saw Ed here and wanted to say Hi before he left again!

Now i'm gonna backtrack and TRY to do the quote thing, otherwise I'll have to backtrack and respond to each one individually:facepalm:
BTW...I youtubed " you;ll have time" and couldn't find it? Who does it! ( I'm intrigued with you, Fleet, and Dennis's posts about it)

Howdy Harley and a good day to you. I started martial arts when I was 40. By the time I was 45 I'd had a metal plate put in my neck to hold it all together, a severe rotater cuff repair, a side of broken ribs and a bad back which took me out on disability. I can appreciate that full contact stuff. My body said otherwise and I couldn't risk injuring myself further. Oh well, wish I'd started sooner :)

Fleet

Edit: the broken ribs incident was funny. They insisted I go to the hospital immediately. I said no, I was finishing class and bowing out with the rest of the students. And I did. My brother then took me to the hospital and on the way I made him stop so I could have some stinkies cause I knew they weren't going to let me do that in the hospital. Funny how you can look back and laugh at things. That holds true for what's going on now as well. One day you might look back and laugh.
