I read a heck of a lot of post here in Reoville that say " I haven't touched my Provari since I got the Reo."

To be fair, majority of ProVari users use either carto or clearo tank. Those toppers don't stand a chance against RDAs. But for a dripper like me, I don't expect much difference in vapor quality. It always come down to how we build our coil and wick for that.
However, the convenience of bottom feed and compact size might make it a new ball game.

I found the Grand to be smaller than I expect and to feel lighter than expected. My works fine in jeans pocket, sports coat or dress slacks pockets. I also found it is less likely to flip out my shirt pocket than the tubes I used to use.

Making it hard to contain my excitement. If this continues, I might have to order another one today! :)

For one thing, I am looking forward to having a mod that will sit flat and stable on the desk. One of the draw back of tube mod is it can be wobbly and fall easily. Not a good thing when you just added 15 drops of juice to the topper.

Does VV Grand have low voltage cut off when the battery gets drained?

yes, i am looking again.

No the VV Grand will only stop when the batteries are too low to give the voltage. That means the batteries will go down to below 3V. Most of us pull them early. It is much better for the battery life.

I have the RM2 on my Grands and with a lower ohm coil I get the same great vape as on the VV REO's. The Grand being mechanical has lots of perks. You can take out the battery and bottle and clean with running water. No worry about it getting wet.

Unless you want the abilities of the VV Grand the Grand is a good choice.

Just ordered! Will definitely post a pic when it gets here.
If I were to order a second one for me, it does have tough competitions to beat.
I have assortment of mods and toppers, but ultimately, will it beat my ADV which is ProVari Mini + Kayfun Lite+? :2cool:
For hard hitting vape, I use Nemesis + Omega RDA combo, but can't win against the convenience of tank(bottle).
So, while I know Reo will pack a punch, I will try to keep the expectation at reasonable level. :D

For me? YES! My Provari and Kayfun Lite+ gather dust at the moment.

yes. i compared the size (based on the spec) and MVP is similar to Grand. since i don't own MVP, i wasn't sure how big that is in someone's hand. I do own VTR (which is slightly bulky in the pocket) and looks like VV Grand is similar size to that.
Thanks

ZO

A grand is the size of a business card, if that helps. :)

I sounds like you know what you're doing with rebuildables, and judging on your username I just want to mention that you should keep your coils to 0.6ohm and above on a stock Grand. The grand uses a hot spring designed to collapse if you have a short circuit, so super low ohm coils can cause the spring to sag or possibly melt the button.

Don't worry though Rob is coming out with a sub ohm kit that replaces the hot spring with a more conductive one, replaces the firing pin with one thats more conductive and better suited for flat tops, and has a heat resistant button. The kit will be released in March.

Thanks. I really should change my handle. I initially came up with that name in objection to ultra low sub ohms. I rarely go below .8 ohms and usually stay around 1ohms single coil. I actually like to taste my juice. :p

Hmm.. instead of "ZeroOhms", maybe "ReoOhms" :D

You definitely "get it" when you hold it but here's a pic of a black wrinkled with a custom door by pdib that I "get" without even holding it. It's bad AYuss.

A REO is much smaller than you prolly think. I'd suggest a grand. It's small. A mini is only slightly smaller :)

That cyclops looks so nice on the Reo. Its a perfect fit! I ordered AFC and was planning on getting LP. Hmmm.. I can always drill the hole out if the hole is too small. In that case, I can get regular Grand and standard top cap Cyclops. Hmmm.
Polished tumbled with perfectly fitting Cyclops. Hmmm x 10
