Hey everyone got a simple question. I'm looking for the best way to enjoy the taste out of vaping. I have a Russian 91% and thinking of buying a Provari V2. I'm looking for honest feedback....is the TASTE better on a REO? And will my Russian 91% that I just spent $100 on work with the REO? Yes I'm a newb so I'm very sorry for the intrusion BUT I'm very mechanically/electrically inclined. There is so much info on this site that I'm overwhelmed but the way I see it, I want to buy a Lamborghini and not an escort. (think i just gave away my age...LOL!)

I have a Provari topped with a kayfun Lite + clone, and I have four REO's.

For ME, the Provari is rarely used these days and it will soon be going up on the classifieds. The KFL +'s (two of them), I may give to a friend to play with.

Although, the Provari was nice for taste testing some juices at my local B&M the other day, instead of their little EGO twists. LOL

For the price of a ProVari with the extension cap to fit an 18650 you can buy a Reo and a RM2. Then think of a way to unload the Russian to help fund your next Reo. Yeah they're that good. You can't go sub ohm on a ProVari and a Russian isn't bottom fed. The best taste comes from dripping. The Reo is dripping from the bottom with a 6 Mil juice bottle. I own 2 ProVari and 3 Reos the Reos are used daily and the ProVari collect dust. Either way you go ProVari and Reo keep their value. Good luck on your choice.

Well they told you everything you need to know, but I am going to add to it... in the vaping world you have different delivery methods, you have clearomizers, cartos, a whole lot of options... that come premade, then when you get into rebuildables you have a few options too... you have your rebuildable tanks, and your rebuildable drippers, dripping is renowned as the purest of flavor, the best taste the best vapor... fresh juice on a coil... tanks are for convenience, so that you dont have to pull that tip, drip drip drip, vape... then repeat (you dont have to drip every hit, just saying) well Rob (the man who made the REO) loved dripping but hated the hassle... so he started making REOs, bottom fed devices, that you just screw on your atomizer, the way your talking RDA (rebuildable dripping atomizer) is going to be best for you, squonk (squeeze the bottle forcing juice up to the coil) and vape, and just repeat...

compared to the russian which you are going to have to worry about flooding, may get into genesis style atomizers, which you have to worry about wicking...

you are at a crossroads, one road is going to be fairly expensive and may inevitably lead you back here, the other will only be as expensive as you want it to be...

i have a REO grand, and a REO mini, and I want MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE!!!

its going to be kinda expensive for me, I want at least 3 grands and my 1 mini...

I wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide to do...

One option (if you have the funds) would be to buy them both. Try them out and decide for yourself. You may like both for different reasons. Lots of people on here own both. The good thing is Reo's and Provai's both have excellent resale value. You can try them both and sell them at a minimal loss if you end up not liking one or both.

As for my opinion, I love the flavor you get from dripping and that's what the Reo provides... without the hassle of dripping onto an atty every few hits. I also prefer the look of Reos. Finally, Rob and the Reo community alone are worth the price of admission.

The setup you're considering - the provari & R91 - was my vaping high bar... until I got a reo.

I resisted getting the reo. Those fanboys (and girls) seemed... well, fanatical. Nothing could warrant the praises they sang. Kinda creepy/cultish, I thought.

One day I owned up to the fact I did, however, want to know what the fuss was about and I got one. Then another. Now another one's in the mail and I'm eagerly awaiting a sale event this week. The reo is that good.

You posted here. That means you're reo-curious. That's okay - I was (as I've said), too. Even if you went the provari-R91 route, you will still be curious. Maybe take a page from those of us who took the blue pill first and then later the red - get a reo.

Oh, and the folks in Reoville are NOT a cult, it turns out - just some of the smartest, most experienced, confident vapers in this forum; only too happy to encourage.

Well said Papa_Lazarou...

I also took the blue pill first...spent $$$$$$ on mods, tanks and everything in between. I got my first REO a few days ago. On day two I ordered a 2nd REO. On day 4 I ordered a 3rd REO. Now I have purchased two additional REO's for family members so they can get started with on a device that is easy to maintain, provides a high quality vape and will last them forever.

I still have a few high end tube mods but they are no longer with me all the time.

If you still need convincing just pull up a chair and hang with the folks in REOville. It will not take you long to know to understand why everyone comes and stays. Truly great people around here.

Never had a R91% or kayfun type atty, but I had a Provari. Provari's are very well made and are very good at what they do, I liked mine quite a bit.

Then I bought my Reo. My Provari collected dust for months until I decided it was time and hocked it in the classifieds. I'll be getting my second Reo shortly.

Bottom line is: I liked my Provari. I Love my Reo.

So everyone has shared their opinion, i am going to try and close this decision for you. Buy a reo grand and a rm2 try it. If you don't like it put it up in the classifieds, in fact go check the classifieds reos sell last week a reo sold in 20 minutes. Lately reos have lasted a bit longer, but that's only due to the upcoming woodvil sale... buy one of those (if you can) if you don't like it, it will sell at what you paid faster than you can imagine...

If woodvil doesn't interest you here's my idea...

CALLING FELLOW REONAUTS PLANNING ON ANOTHER REO...

Can you post what color schemes interest you so if our possible future REOnaut... does not like his reo... highly unlikely i know... that he knows someone would be interested in it?

i see that a lot.

OP said he wants flavor (TASTE). He didn't say he's tried dripping. many r91/kfl users think they have great flavor until they try dripping-even with a cheap dripper on their tubesteak. once they acknowledge dripping provides the very best flavor, the incredible ease of use of the Reo sells itself.

Maybe take a page from those of us who took the blue pill first and then later the red - get a reo.

.

blue pill = phal tubesteak... thanks, Papa_L, gotta remember that one... :)
