Drop your cookies, compress your files, sign on at 5pm on Friday (w/ current username and password) and join the fray !!!!!

Where do you sign in at? Does sign in come when you go to pay? I've never gotten in on a first run, always had Rob invoice me thru PP, don't think that's the best way to go with this one.

The site will go down before hand, then open back up at sale time. Stay logged in (log in before hand....you don't want to wait to sign in as you pay....that could totally lose you the REO.) Know where your REO is located (i.e page, row,) immediately put it in your cart, and immediately pay for it. Do NOT take time to shop for accessories, etc. It's up for grabs until it's paid for: just putting it in your cart does nothing.

That's just it, I don't see a sign in on the web site. Ahh, ok, I found it.
So sign in sometime before 5pm?

Did you make an account? If not, I'd go ahead and register that now, then you can just sign in. But sign in earlier I reckin...... JC can tell ya better, but she said be signed in before the site goes down. Not sure how long it stays down before hand.

Yes. It will (should...some correct me if I'm wrong) keep you logged in. Once the site goes down, you can use the F5 key to refresh the page until you see it come up. Then go immediately to your REO and check it out.

Edit to add: It will be down maybe a half hour or so before sale time. It will open up at exactly 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Got the wife to agree with me that I need a P67, all it took was a few threats, a bag of lye and a shovel(kidding!)

Rob, I have a woodvil (2015) that I would like to send back for some repair. The 510 got pulled up and now it isn't stable. Also, the nipple twisted causing the positive plate to twist into the fire button and has auto-fired a couple times. I have tightened the nipple but for some reason wont stay put and has left me uneasy about leaving the house with it. Kinda thinking it all comes back to the 510 not being where it should be.
Please Modfather, fix my mod.
Would I be able to send this in and have it sent back with my P67 I order on Friday?

Learned the hard way about the cart system on wood sale day when I missed out on my first 3 choices by trying to buy 4 all at once within the first minute or so. Had to go back one at a time and take those first three off, restart the check out stuff after each was taken off only to be told to take another off. Grrr.

Won't be an issue at all this time.

On Sale Night, if I have one mod in mind, then I make two separate orders ; first the mod, then the accessories.
On sale night for the 2015 Woodvil, I had two that I really wanted. Both were plunger doors. I have both, but I had to pay three 'shipping charges' (accessories) to get there.
Notice a pattern here ?

I would make a note to Rob to see if he could combine the orders.
This sounds like a good idea, but I'd hit the pay button as soon as I could......if you take time to write a note, that may be just the delay that loses it for you. Maybe you could PM him later.

You're a quick learner, Spydro. It just takes one frantic sale night to get it.

Another tip: have your credit card info memorized or very handy. You can usually save the number to a notepad program or app, copy it, then just paste it when you get to the spot where you need to enter it.

I know to outsiders we must sound like lunatics. Ha. I think that if one is not terribly picky about color, a P67 can be had. And after going through quite a few sales and NOT getting my first choice, I've learned that whichever one I end up with is the one I fall in love with....and I usually forget all about the unicorn I thought I had to have.

Moral of the story: Have two or three that you like scoped out. If your first choice is gone, just move to the next one on the list. During the 2015 Woodvil sale, I had a whole notebook full of possibilities..... lol

I was lucky. or I listened. Back when Reos Lounge was rolling along, Jan and Karen and others explained of us how 'Sale Night" works in Reosville. While Dennis was threatening to invent a computer code that would simultaneously hack the system and buy all of the Woodvils at once. While everyone else was doing 'Speed Tests' on their internet connections. But the info given was pertinent, and it is possible to walk away with the one or two that you want if you come up with a game plan.

This one's an important one. You want to turn checkout into seconds. Typing in cc info by hand is an avoidable speed bump.
