Personally I wouldn't get the noalox. I'd get some deoxit gold.
Amazon.com: DeoxITGOLD Liquid, squeeze tube 100% solution 2 ml - G100L-2C: Electronics

Amazon.com: DeoxITGOLD Liquid, Brush Applicator - Metal Contact Enhancer, Conditioner, and Protector: Electronics

If you sub ohm fairly low, I would get the larger size. If you are around 1 ohm or above the 2 ml tube will last a long time. I use one drop on my finger for my grands. You'd use a lil more than that on maybe on the P67 to get it between the + contact and the striker plate. As to the rest I'll let someone else advise.

Thank you, that's very useful information. I checked and a local electronics store carries that stuff so I'll pick some up.

very welcome. It is far less messy than that noalox, and made for the gold plated contacts. this is fantastic that this is your first Reo! Hope you love it!! And welcome to the family!!!

Welcome to the wonderous world of Reos.

Spares for Reos are cheap insurance that I find worth having on hand, so I have a lot of them. But I've never needed them so far after about a year and a half of using Reos exclusively other than an occasional bottle.

Some of your picks are the first time I've seen them offered as spares on the website by Rob. That tends to suggest they are a good idea to have on hand when you are so far away from Reoville. I'll be adding some of them to my spares as well.

Comments about each item under them in your quoted post...

Going to order a care package for my P67 as soon as the springs are back in stock. As this is my first Reo I just need a bit of help, I want to basically be covered for quite some time due to the whole international shipping thing. Here is my list, can someone tell me if I am missing anything, anything I should have multiples of or anything that is not for the P67. Will probably add a 3rd spring when they are back in stock.

1 x 8.5 ml Bottle & Tube Kit pack of five
$27.00

The two 6ml bottles that will come with your P-67 will hold up very well. But I'd still suggest a few spares of them or the Italia bottles if you want to try them.

2 x Springs for Metal REOs
$10.00

If you check your atty builds (with the cap on) before you put them on your Reo you likely will never need to replace a spring. But if you do drop one you will be glad you do have a couple of spares.

1 x Noalox small vial
$2.00

Another that would suggest DeoxIT Gold for the contacts. I've used Noalox for the spring plate/screw though.

1 x P67 positive contacts
$6.00

Same as springs, a good idea.

1 x push button for P 67
$5.00

A new button so have no idea on them until my P-67 gets here. But since Rob is offering them when he didn't for the 2015 Woodvil's, another good idea maybe.

1 x 510 adjustable grub screw
$3.00

Have never lost one, but I just ordered 2 with the P-67 (have 16 Reos that use them).

1 x Stainless center post work with all new reos
$7.00

I've never needed this, the first time Rob has offered them as spares... so.

2 x Spring screw P 67
$1.00

Looks like this one is for the P-67's only, so worth having a spare.

Thanks heaps Spydro you've made things a bit clearer for me. Good to know I might not need a lot of those things, I'm the same though in that I do like having spares of everything. I'm certainly not planning on dropping any springs and am careful with my builds so a couple are probably enough.

This is sssooooo sooo tempting, must resist.....The form is beautiful, I know its futile, just resisting for now since I am used to cleaning the contact, spring and inside of my reos once a week with alcohol and then Applying deoxit gold. Not too comfortable on this new cleaning inside setup. Never had a woodville, I am sure those folks have it down to an art.

But that hammatime is looking at me.....please give me a home.

Will have to review the video a couple of more times in slo-mo....

Agreed. You're more likely to lose the whole REO than you are to have any part of it break, but it's always good to have spares. I used the same stock bottle for more than a year, almost exclusively, and it's still just fine. Only thing that "broke" was the glue holding my door magnets after a year of compulsively snapping the door up and down.

I prefer the Italian bottles now, but FWIW after ~2 months I'm starting to see wear on one of 'em. Likewise, the little square bento bottles I played with on my mini are an improvement right up until the moment they crack. I'll always keep an eye out for little ways to tweak and optimize the REO experience, but what Rob gives you by default is indisputably effective and as dependable as anything else out there. Ditto the affordable atomizers on his website; you might find boutique third party products that you like better, but good luck finding a markedly superior vape at any price.

Never dropped a spring, but that's probably the most important back up part to have on hand. Welcome to the vaping promised land.

Mine are due to arrive Wednesday. At work, I do mtl, stealth vape. Dont want much vapor and it has to be quiet. At home, I open up the air and direct lung hit. Whats the best atty for this dual purpose use on a p67?

Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

You could try an RM8. The Air flow adjustment is the slotted exterior, the interior ring has three holes on three sides. I am a M-T-L Flavor chaser, not a cloud fan. With dual 2.2 ohm coils (1.1 total ohms) and a single air hole showing on each side, I get the flavor I want. Lower ohm dual coils, pulled back by single air holes, could still be used for short 'stealth' vaping, then open up the air flow once you're outside.
The real solution is the inevitable ; more than one Reos.
It will happen.
Resistance is futile.

You could "unlike" and then "like" it again a bunch of times. It won't affect the like count but it might give you some satisfaction :).

Also, I wholeheartedly agree - excellent post

My nuppins are most happy on my woodvils which allows the door to open up and down, which I don't care about except I hate the wood door getting smacked by the bottom of the atty when it clicks into place. The TRA P67 I ordered will most likely get my Halo'd Igo W that I brought out of retirement a few days ago and was reminded of its performance and ease of build but hate the overhang while chillin on top of a grand. I love the cyclone but they're taking a break on the sideline right now because I have discovered the magic hidden inside the Chalice 3.

Imagine if that thing was released in 14, 18 and 22mm diameter. WOW!
:glug::glug::glug::glug:
Great collection in your profile pic! I too am amazed with my new Challice 3. Even though it's a bit tighter of a draw than I've become accustomed to, it is a serious flavor machine.
I'm thinking that I'll put one of my RM2's on mine (with larger air hole), but might get another Origin 16 to go on it. Just got one of those and am so far I pressed with the flavor and increased air intake. A happy place for me.

You could always drill the chalice out.

You could always drill the chalice out.

Because of the design of the Chalice III that is not as easy to do as you might think without precision machinery.

I started down that road modding one, and did increase the inner enclosed air chambers capacity to delivery up to three times the air to the coil with less restriction. But it only marginally improved the air flow with the AFC/cap intakes still stock size, and that probably only because of giving it tri-ports instead of only one that can get clogged with joose. With the very little extra meat in the AFC ring to drill the three intakes larger and next to no extra in the internal chamber space to drill the cap intakes larger I doubt the gains would make that much difference. My fix if I still had precision machinery at my disposal would be to arc slot the AFC ring intakes and cap intakes instead of drilling them only a minimally larger diameter.

So I get by with the Chalice's with the three stock intakes wide open by using very l-o-n-g and s-l-o-w lung hits.

It's reo Wednesday!!! Snowed yesterday evening and was shoveling till 11:30pm in prep of the mailman! Of course it snows lightly again I'll have to get out there and clean the porch and sidewalk leading to the door and salt it! Wouldn't want the mailman to fall and damage my new reo! Hehe

Who will get there's first???

Yep, today is the day. Tracking shows my P67 arriving at my PO early this morning. Probably won't be delivered till around 3pm, pst. So a long day ahead. I just hope the regular carrier is delivering today, she never fails me. I can count on her to walk it to the door and knock to get the signature, the other carriers, it's a toss up.
