I backed away from the resin for the time being . Resin like plastic can melt High heat plastic like I use in the buttons can handle a dead short many times over but you take a guy vaping a .3 ohm coil that doesn't maintain his contacts and the heat will build to a point it will cause damage to resin even high heat plasticSo.... Have the resins fallen by the wayside in favor of the 67's ?
Either way, it would still be a REO![]()
Your most welcome and thank you from slightly southSo the reo curse has set in. My next one will be a 67 or an anodized non sl grand. Thanks again rob, I expect I'll be in touch after the holidays. This gold one has been perfect! Many thanks from the slightly north

Sounds great! Want me to send you my addressI'd say a tumbled raw sl grand and a black anodized sl grand would be a killer family.
Think of the mix and match door combos!
That would get u buy till the P67 hits hehe
@SteamStack brother I may just have to adopt some of your technique. Ima have to go find a small paint brush...that's a killer idea. And funny enough BTW, after the vid, the next day when I removed the tube, I realized...you shoulda just done this from the start
@redeyedancer With regard to the P 67 I'll take at least 2
And I will be looking forward to your next wood mods also, whenever that may be brother![]()
Once I get to loosening screws I get nervous but you're right that would help. You know, I need to get over that. I should take a day soon and sit down with one of my Grands and take it mostly apart. Just to prove I can do it and rebuild if ever needed. Clean under the spring etc too which I've never done. Then the next time I wax the woodvil I can try doing that.After oiling my Woodvils the first time, I went searching for a better way. I didn't like the little 'fuzzies' the q tip was leaving behind on the inside. I ended up swiping a small make up brush from Ms Rule's make up box. It gets in the corners easily. Another thing I do is, I loosen the hex screw that holds the switch contact, and swing it up out of the way, so I can clean the contact plate with some alcohol.

ETA for the record, yes, I've been using reosmods for well over a year now and never even so much as had to loosen a screw. Did somebody say "kick ayuss?" I think they did. I think it was Russ.![]()
I need to start a word document with all the pro tips I get from you heavenly brothers and sisters. Thank you Rule! That is a great idea.![]()
I've got some free time & offer my services to test the P 67 under real world conditions.Wonder how beta testing is going at Rob's Workshop.
The only Reo guy I know of around here is emotionalstabilitsloth. He claims to live about 30 minutes from here.Wow, to see someone else from the Adirondack area on this forum. (I'm not from there) but I've only known one person from there.

The 2 of us, however, make a statistically significant proportion of the Adirondacks.
Alabama must be similar, except for the weather of course.
We get about an equal number of tourists in summer & in winter (skiing, etc.) but most of those from Alabama come in the summer. If it's 80 degrees outside, I assume you have your air conditioner running. It is expected to reach 60 degrees here.Exactly, Sloth is who I was talking about. It looks beautiful up there in his videos where he hikes. Alabama where I live is a ton of tourists in the summer. A ton of snowbirds in the winter and the beach. Oh, and no snow haha. Today for example, it's 80 degrees outside.
