Just read through it, I'm far from being rich and I managed to scrap up money for a Reo. At the moment I don't have a job but a few days working as a laborer, just gotta do whatever I need to do. Sold my BRZ to get a Jeep with no payments so I could save money. My priorities are family. I bought my dad something to help make traveling safer with a camper. $500 could've been used for other things, but making my father safer and happier is worth it. Spent $1500 for my mom so she could get out of car payments and her car would be paid off. I have a Reo, sure I want more but I don't need more. I like supporting Rob when I'm able to. For example with the P67, I will join in that when I am able to.

I like doing reviews, but spending $500 a month to do reviews is not smart to do, so I haven't done a video in 3 months to save money.

Most people that help in the Reo forum or the entire forum, don't help because they're asked. They help because they want to. I've given one of my Reo's away to someone I felt deserved it. She never asked, I offered. I mentioned one day wanting my father to quit smoking, a few people offered to help and my dad has been 100% smoke free since March I believe because of an amazing person on this forum. The same person sent a Reo to me, originally for my father but I still can't teach him how to use it haha. I never asked for it, I got told about it the day I was expecting the package to be delivered.

If my Reo was ever destroyed to the point where I couldn't use it, you'd better believe I'd even use a disgusting vuse from a gas station or an istick 30w and nautlius mini to keep me going.

Sorry for the off topic post :p I didn't expect to type that much

Agreed. He made his situation clear but not what exactly the help he is hoping to get. I tried to find out what he was looking for and made several suggestions via a PM which he seemed to ignore. The greatest and most generous folks reside in REOville and are frequently willing to help but need some idea what is wanted.

There are eight million stories in the naked city, this is just one of them that has become all too common everywhere on the Internet.

If this rubs anyone wrong so be it, but it was very clear to me up front. These kinds of stories always are even though sometimes they are cryptic, sometimes in jest, still told seeking the same result of looking for a free handout instead of stepping up and earning what is wanted. From a stranger assumed, but the fact is if you can afford the gear to tell the story here, you can afford the suggestion offered while saving up for the Reo wanted. Many folks here have helped others that were supposedly in need, including total strangers. I used to be that way too, but after having your generosity taken advantage of enough times you become very leery and weary of stories like these.

I agree 100% fishwater, this is way off topic in this thread and should have never been started here by that person.
Spy out.

Hello REO friends...Yes the milling has begun..metal is flying, tunes are cranking and the Modfather is at it again!! Although I have been working with Rob for about 3 years,I have never been on the ground floor of a new project..I was always too busy building minis and grands, and doing repairs.. However...seeing this p-67 project go from Robs head to the machine has been awesome...There is so much that goes in to making a mod...I have an appreciation for what he goes through when doing a new project, way more than I did a few months ago...Every part and piece has to be just right.. Rob is all about making the best ,user friendly mod that he can..This one is really going to be a weapon!! love everything about my p67 prototype number 002! Thanks for letting me babble, and thanks for your dedication to Rob and Reos mods!!!

It's wonderful to see your enthusiasm for your job Russ!It must be so great working for someone who is such a stickler for perfection...but the fact that you admire this is also wonderful..it'a a "match made in heaven" for the both of you.

and I really NEED a raspberry P67....

I will post a how its made vid later tonight . Its not all there but it will give people the just of it if you can stand watching the whole vid Its a little dry . This is how I spent my Sunday after my dad left for his visit

No worries on people cloning me I could honestly care less . Besides any machinist with a half a brain can copy any mechanical mod its not hard to do when milling metal is your occupation . I would rather they cloned me then moved the sqounk hole or rounded the edges and slapped there name on it . Life is to short to worry about such things game on I say

Awesome video, just got home from visiting the wife's family in Taiwan! Glad to see you're moving along! Can't wait!

Really like what you did with the screw post for the cover. Love my 3.5 yr old reo grand but I keep stripping the thread out even being careful!
