If I find lots of people drinking the same cool aid your sipping I will ramp up production. For now I will stick to the pinky toe procedure

As long as you can RAMP up production, that's fine with me. I'm sure this new design will be in big demand, and will replace the original design soon. Christmas may slow some of us down (because of buying gifts), but I'm sure you'll be swamped in February during Tax refunds. Many of us are already eyeing the new P-67 like Piranha eyeing fresh meat.

Yes I am a big George Winston fan it relaxes me
Thought so! Many moons ago I got to see George Winston perform in UCLA (I believe). He was humble and a man of few words. He let his fingers do all the talking. I also remember that he wore white socks (no shoes) for the entire performance. That had to be at least 25 years ago. What talent! Also adore Peter Kater's piano playing.

Now back to your regularily scheduled program: "P 67"

This question probably doesn't belong in this thread, but I see a lot of people asking for the SL's so I'm going to ask it here :) Do you find the SL's getting a bunch of stuff(lint, etc.) inside the mod? Do you not pocket carry?

I prefer the SL's much more. I never noticed lint or anything from mine. Whether it be in my pocket, backpack, or cup holder. Even dropping it in the sand on the beach it never stuck there. Only time I get dust in the little slots are if I have it sitting out for a week without using it.

I give the ladies a bath every 3rd or 4th day (sometimes daily if the eliquid being used is a 'lurker') so I dont get any more than what is collected around the button.
SL's all day long :thumb:

That's my concern too about the SL, but ya know what... there's a tiny amount of dust, lint, and etc that gets inside the squonk hole of my regular LP. Naturally with the SL wide open, there might be a little more debris at times, but nothing canned-air can't zap out in 2 seconds.

I have been carrying my newer SL/LP for over a week now and have had no problems with anything gathering inside it. Then again I do check my pockets as soon as I put on my pants just for the lint factor. I too have found debris inside my LP on more than one occasion and just figured if I take that part of the equation out, its one less thing to worry about.

I have a few Squonkers and my number one used device is my Grand SL/LP... it's pretty much with me 24/7 and it also goes fishing with me... I do like a clean REO so once a week it gets a full pit stop... never had an issue with it ever.

Love me a nice SL and never had an issue with debris getting in the body. Then again, I'm usually in pretty clean environments (save for camping trips). If I were, say, a drywaller, I might be more concerned, but day to day no issues.

My out and about Grand is an SL and I carry it in my front jean pocket. I would be fibbing if I said that I don't get itty bitty pieces of lent in the cracks but it's an easy trade-off for how it looks and feels in my hand plus the slight weight difference. A weekly cleaning takes care of it. I'm also careful not to have anything else in that pocket. I'm gonna take Muzichead's idea and "de-lent" my pockets first. Brilliant!

I've been meaning to post this but every time I put my REO under the sink I smile. So easy to clean, so rock solid & hit's like a champ.

I love the looks of my SL but lately I've been thinking my copper vein LP feels better in the hand, tough call. Either way it's a REO so you can't go wrong :thumb:

I have 4 LP Grands, and to be honest, I've always hesitated on ordering a SL, because I've been concerned about dust, dirt, lint, etc. getting inside. I may have to reevaluate that, if the P67s eventually have a SL option. It's not like I'm often in dusty or dirty environments anyway, like I was back when I was working construction.

I'm in the same exact boat, Rule. Only when tenting out am I in dirty environments. I'm kind of wanting an SL Grand these days.

I take mine fishing too and what's nice about the SL are the cut outs where you could run a line through it and tie it to your belt loop. I'm going to try that next spring. Great Lakes can get pretty rough at times.

As far as lint and other crud, I find no difference. Where the saw dust and dirt gather is at the air holes of the atty where it's a bit sticky. I find myself clearing the air holes if I'm in my shop or out in the woods to clear the debris.
