I'm kind of wanting an SL Grand these days.
Woah! Stop the presses. The king of self restraint (not hatin' - that's a compliment) is thinking about getting another one.

I want a Gibson j-200 pass on the SL version I already have a P 67 . I wouldn't mind having one of them reo P 69s
But I suppose that if I HAD to, I would get one with an SL door......hahaha
Am wondering if there will be any non-smooth ones?? Next to SL's, I like the feel of my silver vein. BTW, what are the differences between vein, hammer tone and wrinkle? Are these words used interchangeably? I can't tell the difference on the website. I know that the metallics are very smooth as I have one. Thank you....
Just sayin' (hoping and hinting)....did I mention dark green?
I agree...and, it rocks. I love my hammertone. Feels great in hand. The Hammertone is a different finish I would say it's a little rougher than the wrinkle to give you an idea. Also Rob says it's the most durable finish.
I'll definitely be ordering one of these as soon as they're available, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous about accidental pocket-firing if there's no lock on the button.
It's the same as the Woodville button - you turn it to lock.
No, earlier on Rob stated that the safety will somehow ...wait, let me find it...It's the same as the Woodville button - you turn it to lock.
You are correct the hole on the positive plate is tapped for the on off switch a simple break of the connection were the top of the battery meets the positive plate .
That is true and there are a couple reasons I am not using the lock built into the button . One with the on off built into the button I would need to leave the button protruding more then I want to . I want to make the button as low profile as I can .
The lock built in the button is very convenient the down side is if its not perfect it can move out of position and catch I no mine does once and a while . It didn't do this when it was new . Not a big deal but I don't want to hear about it in the forum all the time . Which is why I decided to make a simple on off switch in the mod .
