Sounds pretty straight forward, especially since I have access to a machine shop and some really good machinists. Anyone else done one?
We use an arbor press at the modshack...drill the brass one out,(cant remember bit size,im home now).dremel to get any leftover pieces...wash,..swipe the 510 hole with deoxit or noalox..and press new one in..

I assume the old 510 is just a press fit and not threaded on the OD? Did you recall what size drill you use!

Wow I was shocked the Reo forum was closed down. I really have to read more often.

Is this a place to ask a technical question?

I have a 2015 woodvil, the 510 connector (the SS and brass part) is coming a bit loose. It doesn't pop off or turn but it can be pushed up and down like 1mm. Does anyone have any idea what I can do other than sending the Reo back to Rob?

If memory serves me correctly, I believe in one of the Woodvil threads over there Rob posted a fix for that. I believe it had something to do with super glue... I'll try to find it for you.
Please do since I wasted a good hour trying to find that. Thanks buddy.

Yes. The solution is super glue. Push the connector up or down a little, whichever way it goes, being careful not to break the solder connection. Run a ring of super glue around the connector, and push it back into place. Clean off the excess super glue right away. Let it sit overnight, to give the glue a chance to dry well. Should be good as new.

Thanks a lot. But the seem between the connector and the wood is really small. I will have to be really careful to apply the thinnest layer of superglue

Yes it is. I would use a syringe, with a small needle, if you have one.
As an aside, I try not to remove or replace atty caps on my Woodvils, unless they happen to be fairly loose ones. Some attys have pretty tight caps, in which case, I work on them on my building stand, rather than on the Woodvil.

That could have come handy as that's how I broke it. I pulled the cap off and there it goes.
