Doesn't anyone else notice how much higher the button sits? I have seen plenty of people comment about it here.

What does Rob charge now for the whole 510 update and rebuild deal now? I am curious. I would send mine in for the update, even though I don't care about the 510, I just want the longer throw.
Like I mentioned earlier, this is the first time I've heard this mentioned. I will have to look back through this post. Not sure what Rob charges nowadays but I think when I had one done it was like $20 + shipping, but that was well over a year ago and I don't have that device anymore.

The only suggestions I can think of have already been mentioned. 1. Try going with a flat top battery.
2. If you have the old firing pin in your device, maybe swap it out for the newer B.C. pin that is rolled over on the tip as opposed to just being bent.
3. Maybe replace your button with the newer heat resistant button that Rob now uses. Maybe it is slightly longer... Not sure!!

Also, that longer metal nipple extension to the rubber feed tube really secures the feed tube much better. The only thing I have noticed is that it does not give you as much room to screw on the bottles when re-filling. Maybe it's just me, I have big hands.

I apologize if I am using the incorrect technical jargon. I am not a mechanically inclined type.
The only real difference between the old and new nipple is the new one is longer and the feed tube stays outside the delrin insert whereas the old one goes up inside the insert. I use the soft Italian bottles and I have way more than enough room inside to do a bottle swap. They are 1/2" or more shorter than the original Reo bottle.

I like both. The P67 feels better in my hand, because of the rounded corners, and looks great with my 22mm attys. I like my smaller attys, like he Nuppins and RM4s on the LP Grands. When I'm bouncing around in a golf cart, which is often, and have to put my REO in the cup holder, I feel better with the Grand, because of the top button.

Hi All - hope you gang have been great!

For those of you have a Grand and a P67, which do you prefer and for what reasons? I currently have both and am not sure I have a preference.

They're both great for different reasons IMO. I typically stay above 0.6 on a grand and around 0.3 on a p67. I like the lower voltage drop and the bigger builds with the p67 loaded with fruit flavors. I keep smaller atties with simple coils on the grand with tobacco flavors loaded. Usually both are with me but tend to grab the p67 more as its a very comfortable feel but the grand is awesome because its familiar (and fully dunkable in water [c'mon P67 ultem insert!]). The lock on the grand has caught me off guard more than the p67, especially since with a SL door, you can see if the P67 is locked or not through the door. Not sure I have a preference either, but I sure enjoy both!

That's like asking me which of my 2 daughters I like better! Kidding aside if I could only have one the P67 gets the thumbs up. I prefer both the rounder form and the side located fire button.

For the first time ever today, I had a little Reo door magnet pop off. Then about 10 minutes later my plastic firing button fell off. I am thinking maybe it was the extreme heat today.

Anyway, I was thinking of using a couple drops of super glue to secure everything back in place. Is this acceptable or is there a better way?

I figured I had better ask my fellow Reonauts first, in case there is some better method than super glue.

Thanks for any opinions my friends.

Superglue for the magnet. Be sure to get the polarity correct.
If you mean the the button that is press fit over the firing button, I think it's recommended to lay a piece of string over the firing button, before pressing on the button, creating a tighter fit.
Don't think you'd want to glue it on. You may have to remove the firing button at some point.

Yep - someone posted a question just about a week ago, when she got her brand new reo "What's this in the bag, a little bit of complementary dental floss??"

LOL - it was string for her button.

Thanks puffon, great info. Yes, I was talking about the little round button that sits on top of the regular firing button for comfort.

String under the button huh? I would have never even thought of that one. Very interesting idea.

jup that ribbon type dental flossy stuff Train referred to is great. Just lay some over the top and put the button cover on. Presto fixo!

^^^. I have to try this. I like the bigger button but it's not right enough to twist to the shut off position.
yeah a friend sent me one of Roscoe's steampunk button covers......oh man I love this thing!! Soooooooo beautiful. But it just spun around on the Reo button. Someone told me to do that......worked perfect.

I like the lock on the P67. With my Grand it seems to take more deliberate action to fire it. While I love the button on the P67 it has been my experience that it will fire in my pocket...
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, if so, sorry.. catching up on posts and several pages behind..

There's a forum member that makes nice holsters for mods including the P67. He's designed the holster so that the button can't be depressed while in the holster. So often I don't lock my P67 when holstering since it can't fire. Not sure if posting thread link breaks any kind of rule, so message me and I'll send you thread link.

I don't really have a preference either. Love them both! Sometimes it just mood or whichever is loaded up and ready for the day. I usually keep different atty's on them so then it becomes more about what juice I'm in the mood for. I do have atty preferences for different juices.

Thanks, that looks cool and all but not really my thing.
