I'm currently out of the country & my Reo stopped firing. Took it apart & there is a small crack on the firing pin. I assume this is why it won't fire? I can't even get on the Reo website, strange. I know Rob has a repair kit. Does anybody know if he ships a repair kit outside of the country [Thailand]? I have no idea what to do? Suggestions?!

Yes MacGyver advice indeed. All ya need is a small thin sheet of brass and cut it to match your stock pin, curl the end and cut a hole and your good to go until you get your rebuild kit. Not sure if you have access to a thin sheet of brass in Thailand.. and if you don't like to "MacGyver " things up then I wouldn't suggest doing this. BUT, it would definitely get you up and running.. I'm sorry to hear this happened! Especially being out of the country!! Bummer. How did this happen? Do you know? Is it an old firing pin? Or did u mash on the button? Either way, i hope you can get it fixed. Or I hope you have a back-up. And I REALLY hope that back-up isn't stinkies!!

I will have to PM rob, have no idea how it happened. Sitting outside, vaping, all is well & then it wouldn't fire... No mashing, I'm sure I did in the very beginning learning the throw but after that, it's been great:) It's probably 4 months old with only 1 1/2 months "all day use"

4 months old but only 1.5 most all day?? was it USED? lol I pulled mine out of the package, filled it and have put it down, only to sleep since :)

I've made a firing pin using a pair of kitchen scissors and a brass feeler gauge from the auto parts store .010 or .012 thickness for the gauge. The hardest part is getting the nipple/nut off the firing pin without breaking it. Even if you attempt this I'd still order the rebuild kit so you have it either way.
