REOs and CE2's?

I just saw this thread about using a CE2 with a REO. Anyone tried this? It sounds interesting

I don't use foil but I do put a heat shrink tube around the ceramic cup and heat it. It seals the wicks to the cup so they never fray.

You need regular CE2s and not XLs. XLs are too long for the juice to travel up. They will still work but not as consistent as the regular ones.

Thats a pretty slick ce2 mod! I only have the clearomizers but I'm sure I could get them to work also. I have the guts of 4 of them (I'd be lucky to get 3 fills before the tubes would start to crack and leak) and a few more unopened ones. Perhaps I'll do some tinkering this weekend and see if I can do this myself! Thanks for that link!

Kewl....I have a bunch of syringe modded ce2's that I can try that out with! Also have a bunch of uncut ce2's (regular and xl) to try out the other one with...there goes getting anything else accomplished this weekend, LOL
