¯\_(ツ)_/¯
There should be a seal right at the bottom of the chimney (that probably looks a lot like a silicone washer more than an o-ring), right where the chimney and the top of the coil head meet. Is that washer present on the one tank that doesn't leak? And is it missing on the tanks that leak?

I doubt it but if the top fill cap's gasket is missing the tank won''t seal, causing leaking. If it's not missing but it's poorly manufactured (like maybe too thin) it still won't seal.
  • Make a paper gasket similar in size (doesn't have to be exact but should not be bigger),
  • remove the rubber gasket,
  • place your paper gasket in it's place and
  • then put the rubber gasket back, on top of your paper gasket.
This will make the gasket "thicker" and make it seal better.

Well I thought I rould take out tank #3 and soak new coil. In the meantime I thought I would measure the square oring at the top of the coil. It flew off my pick and under my heavy couch I think. I cant find it. It will have to wait until I can get my son over here to lift my couch. So much for that.

Screws, Springs, and sometimes O-Rings, if freed from the shackles of their confinement will seek shelter under Heavy Furniture. They also tend to Shy Away from Light emitted from common Flashlights.

Can't exactly blame them. But it is Frustrating when you are Trying to Solve something like this Leaking Issue.

I dont own this tank but.
Since as already being said leaks usually happen from coils or orings and usually they are the orings on the top fill cap that dont seal good and there is no vaccum created to hold the juice from running freely to the coil.

Anyways i cant see very clear on the video but i saw but it seems that on the topfill part there is a thin o-ring that is placed on the tank next to the theadings on the exterior and then there is also a thick oring or maybe i should call it gasket or rubber seal that sits in the topfill cap.
I just wonder if you changed both of those or and not just the outer ?
It may be visibly compressed from years of use maybe.
Anyway just saying in case.

This oring/gasket is one of those thick ones that nowdays many tank don't even have in the box with the spares for some reason, btw i hope back then the crown 2 had it but even if not maybe u can try flip it on the other side or somehow add something underneath it.

The gasket is not compressed. It doesnt even show wear marks. I will try the paper trick. I had to order small scissors off amazon. They will be here tomorrow.

Yeah now i see the previous comments and since u say there is mo visible damage i guess thats not it and maybe its the oring u mention its not in the package that is where the coil seals into the tank.
That also can cause leakage.
The thing is that if u enjoy this tank u will definitely fix it somehow its a shame not use it for some orings ajd since u got such a huge stock of coils.
