Ditto - PM Rob.

It also depends on which VV Grand you have - the 1st generation with the recessed button or the later versions - that used the same fire button as on a Woodvil.

Gotta ask: What makes you think you have a switch problem and not a chip problem?

1. Probably won't, no longer necessary.

2. My VVGrand is 1-1/2 to 2 years old. It has the latter version button.

3. Neither.

Some weeks ago my old friends up on "The Hill"(https://www.lanl.gov/) and I( I live below "The Hill" in San Ildefonso Pueblo as I'm a "breed") decided to build a 26650 and extended juice capacity device. We used, among other things, a 3-D printer and some other nick-nacks. For a switch we mickey moused a set of platinum ignition points. 'Nuff said on all that. Anyway, it vapes like HELL(quite good) and the longevity of both battery and juice capacity is rewardingly extended, considerably. Also it easily fits into my dress shirt pocket, este no es una problema, corners are well rounded.

Anyway, one of my old lab colleagues called after my original post here this evening and has solved the switch issue with an alloy similar to the REO's Be-Au solution in the form of a push-button triggering and a rotating on-off. He tested at 12v and 20A for a half hour and said the switch barely got warm, maybe 10C(degrees) above ambient. He's an old M.E. and has a private machine shop.

I'm just an old Eng'r-Att'y(not Electrical Eng'r). Retired more than 10 years ago.

There will be no photos nor info on my part henceforth, thread, PM or otherwise, probably wouldn't like it anyway.

Buona Notte, Buenas Noches, Wolakota(Lakota for peace) and ciaou. E finito!
