Replacement tank for the Smoktech RSST RBA

Hi all,

I've been looking for a replacement metal tank for the RSST. So far all of the options have been super expensive ($50 for a JB Steamworks from the fine folks at kidneypuncher.com) for the tank when the RSST itself is under $30. Has anyone found a less expensive option? I may see how much a custom piece is to make, not to sell. I'd be happy to share any info I come across.

Right now that seems to be the only option not worth it in my opinion. I know there were some Pyrex replacement tanks much cheaper.

I agree with you there. Way too much money for just a tank replacement. As for a Pyrex replacement, I was unaware of that option. I was under the impression that due to the tank having a sealed bottom, glass wasn't a good material choice.

I read somewhere that Smok is working on a glass tank. If that's true, it's out yet.

Also, you can't sell on ECF without being set up as a supplier. Suggest you edit that out of your post.

While a replacement tank (whether it be glass or metal) may cost as much or more than the RSST itself, it still may be a good investment. Especially with how easy the RSST is to set up.

Smok at this point isn't announcing anything. Thanks for the heads up, I should have thought about that.

I guess that is something that only time will tell. The stage 2 upgrade from kidney puncher is super, super tempting.
