was just curious if anyone has attempted to replace the wick under the bridge of their atomizer before.

i have been vaping on mine for 4 days now, and when i look at the wick it looks brown and maybe a little melted...

does this affect the performance of the atty any?

is it worth it to try and replace that wick after a certain point, or does cleaning the atty do the trick?

Thanks!

As long as it doesn't have a burnt taste, it should be fine (some liquids leave more residue behind than others).

Once it's got that burnt taste, I'd have to say it's more trouble than it's worth to clean / recondition it. Unless.... you drip. If you drip, then you can just simply remove the wick and drip as usual (there are instructions on how to properly remove a wick somewhere in these forums). A lot of people have been successful in reviving some of their atty's this way.
