Request for Assistance in Upgrading

Dear Fellow Rebels,

I started vaping a few days ago..so my gear is the eGo C4 (the automatic battery) fitted with a CE6 clearomizer. I spent the entire day yesterday reading on the forum and I was advised in another thread (vaping and drinking) to upgrade my gear in order to fit my needs and i'm planning to order from FT the following as an upgrade:


1. VAMO V5 (but I'm a bit concerned with the threading issue, so I' considering ordering the iTaste SVD as a backup).
2. Protank (three of them)
3. Vivi Nova (five of them)
4. iClear 30S (three)
5. CE6 (five)


As a newbie I am not entirely sure I am making the right decisions..so your assistance is sorely needed. Is this a good configuration? Are the quantities exaggerated for someone who's barely starting? It would be great if I can order my stuff from one place that can ship the package to my country...any recommendations?

As others have suggested, MVP2 is a solid choice. For SVD and other tube mods, don't forget to order batteries and chargers.
Now, for tanks. I am not sure why you want to order so many tanks. If you have more than 2 - 3 tanks for a single battery mod, you will be spending more time threading the tanks in/out. Start with a few tanks and buy few more of ones you like. As for the models, here is my recommendation. (not sure if FT sells all these)
Instead of ProTank, get AeroTank. Airflow control on AeroTank makes a huge difference. Also sealed contact keeps battery juice free.
If you get MVP2, it comes with iClear 30S. Don't need to buy another one.
Instead of ViVi Nova, take a look at Nautilus. This tank is arguably the best clearomizer on the market right now.
You should give a cartomizer a try as well. It vapes different than clearomizer and lots of people prefer that.

Main reason you want to buy small initially and stick with one you like is refills. You don't want to buy atomizer head refill for 4 different types of tanks. Instead of buying 16 tanks, buy maximum of 2 each and spend the money on another battery mod.

I have a Vamo and I would agree with this, it gets the job done but the build quality is poor, and there are definitely better options out there.

Very good advice already in this thread--I don't have much to add. I do agree that there are better choices than Vamo, IMHO. If you want an APV with replaceable batteries, Sigelei Zmax and the SVD are both very good choices. If you want in internal battery, The MVP can't beat for convenience and features it offers.

As for toppers--I wouldn't orded 5 ViVi Novas myself. Get one or two and see how you like it. The same goes for other heads that come with replaceable coils--get one or two of each and some extra coils and see how you like them first. Technology changes daily, literally, and you don't want to get stuck with a drawerful of aging tanks...

And heed Peraspera's advice--place several smaller orders in case there's trouble with customs, either in China or in Egypt.
