I emailed Bloog to ask them why they have every other country in the world it seems but Canada from their dropdown list. Here's what they said:

In the past, a large amount of our products have been seized by customs and have lost money on these products that get taken. So for the best decision for our company, we cannot offer any refunds if the seizure takes place. However, if you would like to take the risk of us sending it to you, we would be happy to send our products to you.

So there's no way I'm going to run the risk of this especially since I was looking to order $165 worth of gear and don't just want to make a donation to Canada Customs. This is pretty damn disappointing as it seems you can't even get hardware across with blank carts. By the way, I know Happy Vaper sells kits but they don't sell manual batteries and I definitely wouldn't go with the auto ones. So I was looking to get 4 manual 65's, PCC, accessory kit, 25 blanks, to give this stuff a try for the hell of it.

They do say they will label it according to your instructions and ship it via the carrier of your choice in case anyone is interested in giving it a shot but count me out of this experiment. It's not even the money as much as the frustration of being screwed over by our meddling busybody government.

Now if someone on this side of the border started carrying this, it would be a different story. Hopefully at some point someone will.

Well that's good to know although I'm skeptical that they would even know this. I'm thinking they might see electronic cigarette and jusst seize it. I"m not at all sure though that they don't seize just hardware, and I've read some people have lost theirs. That's interesting about Canada Post, however according to these guys Customs are seizing it, not CP, so I dunno.

Happy Vaper (Toronto vendor) to the rescue!

Bloog Starter kit: Canadian E-cigarette Bloog MaxxFusion Basic Starter Kit

Bloog PCC kit: Canadian E-cigarette Bloog MaxxFusion Mini-PCC Starter Kit

Parts galore as well if you just want cartos or a battery or what have you. Some of the stuff is out of stock at Happy Vaper but that will be temporary; Jack won't let an item sit on his website "Out of Stock" for months and months. More are en route.

I can understand why you wouldn't want to go with Auto batteries, but honestly these things are pretty reliable. You just need to make sure you don't over-fill your carto and risk getting juice in the battery. In the past auto batteries could be set off by wind etc, I haven't noticed this problem at all with the BMF auto batteries.

As to the Manual batteries, these are based off the KR8 style, and I had some KR8 manuals which I didn't like. The button design seemed to be faulty. One battery was extremely hard to press to get a connection, and the other the button felt loose. I'm not sure if Bloog worked with the factory to improve this design flaw from the original KR8 style or not?

I guess all I'm saying is you probably don't need to worry about the issues auto batteries (Especially 510's) used to have.

Just a heads up.

I recently had a $400 bloog order shipped with UpS arrive at my Door within 3 days no problems! I did however get my kit and strrter stuff from Jack at HV and he is excellent! Also I wouldn't fear these auto batts, they're quite good!

If you are only buying hardware and blanks I dont see a problem getting it through customs.

Good luck!

I was talking on the phone with someone from HC the other day, and he told me: "you wouldn't believe how much e-cigs we seize each day".
I tend to believe him.

How closely is HC integrated with customs? Are they there "on-site" or does customs just respond to communications sent from HC? Any details on what they seize: quantities, hardware, juice?

I frequently order hardware to the UPS store in NY state.
Coming back into Canada I am always honest, tell them I went down to pick up e-cigarette hardware.
They tell me to go inside to pay the HST then I'm on my way.
Most of the time they don't even blink an eye, a few times they ask personal questions like "how good are those things?"
Never yet have they asked to look at anything more than the receipts. Never have they asked about nic (I just order blanks anyway).
Nothing even remotely shady.

I'd say they're pretty tight.
And no, no details. I could've asked, but it looks suspicious haha.
"Hey I'm importing a MASSIVE quantity of products you'd like to seize; any tips?"

Hopefully very soon, we will have some great news to share with everyone here about ending HC's baloney. Can't say more right now...but soon!
