Retasking my Hamidor and a cigar box.

Now that I am off cigars. I decided to retask my Humidor and a old boxs. I plan to add an elastic strap for my pvs to set like you see in the pic. My Provari is missing and in the shop right now. But you get the idea. The box was a prototype to get ideas from and will now hold misc stuff an large bottles of juice.

All I needed was the box, My CAD software to figure out the hole placement a 2/4 saw and drill press. But it can be done with out the drill press or the software.

I'm in the process of doing the same thing. I was about to drill some inserts when my juice orders arrived all at once and since there's different sized bottles, I'm just going with different compartments.

Yea I ran into that. I had to make the holes as big as possible and I only keep a few in the Humidor. I have some really good amber glass bottles that I got for storing things that dont' like light like Essential oils . Those and the really big ones go in that Cigar box. I wanted to use that closed cell heavy foam but had no way to cut hole in it . Forstner bits don't like foam. LOL
I don't have the patience for making those little squares compartments at least not always. I left that block in the Humidor lose but snug so I could change it later when I feel like making the compartments.
Yea I ran into that bottle diff. To bad that when it says 10ml you can't count on the same size diameter.
