I'm sure most people know this by now, but the Odysseus version 2 Ceramic Housing and v2 ceramic work perfectly well with version 1 Odysseus tank and drip modes' parts. I was able to pick up a couple of v2 housings and have now converted my two drip modes and tank to v2. Used the old center posts and added the new little o-ring under the interior top nut.

With the ease of the negative channel and wrapping the neg wire around the wick, a great product has gotten even better!

That's good to know. I imagined they were interchangeable as it wouldn't make sense to re-tool but glad to have that confirmed. I don't have a V2 ody but I do have Penelope's and I love the new metal slot. I just cut a 1/4 to 3/8 inch silver pigtail wrapped around the Resistance wire and the extra bulk of the NR and R wires makes for a nice tight fit compressing under the wick. Makes for leak free connections as juice used to get by under the gap of the neg wire under the top nut.

Genius design

Hmmm, thought I posted in this thread already!

Next coil I make in my V1 I'm gonna wrap the negative wire around the wick and not lock it under the ring. Hoping it will make enough contact with bottom piece, ring or mouth piece to work. Anybody tried it before? Think it will work without adding resistance? I'll post results once I try it.
