reusing batteries out of a dead mod

I recently killed my old Dovpo dt-50. It hit my concrete garage floor and I guess the chip died. It has three batteries soldered inside it. Can I take those out and use them in an istick 100?

Not the best decision. They are likely Bag Batteries.

Assuming they are 18650's it depends if they are soldered, welded or tabbed, only easy enough ones I wouldn't worry is the spot welded ones, they clean up pretty nice sometimes perfect, just make sure the wrap is fully intact after removing the welds and that the surface is completely flat, one little dot can create a hotspot which can result in boom.

If you haven't had experience or been taught how to do it with someone checking your work I'd steer clear of doing it, at those amps it's not something that someone with no experience should be doing.​
