Don't know how long the tube is going to last but an overal experience is excellent.

About a week with heavy use and as I found out prob not safe for a rigorous work environment. If you hear the tube make a cracking noise, that's the glue joint breaking loose. Of the 4 I bought 2 tanks now are loose on the inserts, one came apart, although it was getting a 12 hour bumpy ride on the seat of a F350. It went back together and is not leaking. I was thinking of trying a clear quick set epoxy on the tube ends to more permanently attach them to the metal inserts. The other two have had no issues.

Overall I do really like them, they produce great flavor and vapor through a wide range of voltage on a V8 at 3.0-4.1v and work great on my 650 eGo-c vv pass-through. A couple of minor improvements like a little bit thicker tank that is secured better and maybe a twist-lock or threads for the atomizer tube base will make this an Excellent Clearo. The atomizer just kind of flops around without the top on while filling. Also when the tanks get loose on the inserts you'll need to press the ends together to seat the atomizer base often.

No need to rebuild them when you can put in a new atomizer/tube assembly in 10 seconds for $2 gives it the potential to be truly long term and takes it out of the disposable category.

I'm using it with 5.3 v for a second day and haven't noticed any problems so far. Been doing a chain waping all the time.

PS.
Well I've spoke too early. There's a tiny crack started to develop.

Eric, are you sure getting a right spare parts for E1?
The base has a tread in it but the replaceable metal tube not.
The spare plastic tube (thanks, btw) already has some kind base in it and not compatible with the original configuration.
The original plastic tube went of the base very easy, btw.
Maybe I'm missing something?
PS. This one was the last item from my DV orders.
I don't have any more of your's toys to play. It was a kinda expensive but the fun experience. Lol

actually the piece that you are thinking is the base is actually the top where the drip tip goes.replacement tubes dont come with new atomizer base.what happened is you actually pulled the tube off the base ring for the tube.so the base piece for you tube is still on the atomizer base. take some needle noose pliers and get that ring of the base, super glue in back to the tube . there is a little slot at the bottom of the threads that goes down towards your atomizer base for room for the white o ring. been there done that !ive put these through the hell test for a week now. im a painter and im constantly dropping them or jacking them up in some way.only way ive broken a tube is drop it from a 4 foot ladder on my 26650 mod.hey my fault! at least these break with abuse, unlike my stardusts that just start cracking from base for no reason.the rings do come loose but a little glue fixes it right up, once you learn to unscrew the base from tube carefully and push you atomizer replacement into the base until it doesnt flop around, these things are awesome. just ordered 3 more and lots of atomizer pieces.oh yeah also put one of erics stainless gyrodial tips on here. great combo!

Thanks. But I'm still confuse. Here's how replacement tube looks like:

The bottom shows on pic 2 . So do you suggest to pull the base out of the new tube the same way I done with the original one (pic 3) ?
May be do you know why is there a tread inside of the inner tube holder but not on the tube itself (pic1,2)?
Thanks in advance.
Waiting for Eric to blend in this conversation. Lol

no dont pull apart! .it unscrews the same way the top that holds the drip tip try to hold on to tube where the metal part is inside the tube so it doesnt break loose glue between metal and plastic. then turn the exposed metal part. your 3rd pic has a atomizer base.the metal ring that is scrwewed on to it is actually suppose to be in your tube unscrew that and your new tank will thread on to the atomizer base. stick in the atomizer till it doesnt wiggle, carefully screw back together with out knocking atomizer and you should be good to go. if im confusing you post pics of just atomizer base and ill walk you through it.

ok the last pic on the right. it looks like there is 1 piece but its not there is a seam. take 2 pair of pliers and it will unscrew. had to do it with my first one

Well, I finally killed it. The metal is so soft that can't handle the torque. And even after the edge gets broken I still can't unscrew this thing (this why it's banded).Probably it has locktight on the tread.
Funny pics

There's a tread and the plastic ring. Lol.

Sorry, 650 eGo-c vv pass-through? Where can I find one of these?
PM me I'll send you a link, DV doesn't sell them. They are vv in that it has two modes, regulated at 3.3v and unregulated battery voltage. One is the constant voltage output mode which gives constant 3.3V and is the same as the normal eGo-C/eGo-T/eGo battery. The other is variable voltage output mode, in this mode; the voltage will change from 4.15V to 3.6V as the lithium battery power decrease. Try a Google search for JOYETECH EGO-C UPGRADE, about $22-$24+shipping, sometimes you can find them on sale for $16-$18.

Thanks a million JZXJ! I just found them on a another retailer that I use frequently! I didn't realize you could switch voltage on those, but now I know what my next battery purchase will be. Much appreciated! :toast:
