Hello,
USB PASSTHROUGH
So I bought the usb pass through recently. Amazing and nifty gadget I must say. The only problem I hit is the fact that the cord is almost 2 feet long. This isnt terrible, but I was hoping to be able to sit back and puff. But the size of the cord made it so I barley was able to reach the head of my bed.
So to try and accommodate the little bugger, I moved my bed, but now my tv didnt line up, so I moved my tv and desk. Then I had a book shelf in the middle of my room. So that moved to the other side of the room. And before I knew it, I rearranged my entire room to fit this little cord. But even then I had to strain my neck to puff in bed.
A quick trip to target fixed that. For 19 bucks they had a 16 foot usb extension cord. Now I have no problems.
All in all its a nice thing to have if you are going to be posting up and vaping for sometime and want to make sure your batteries are charged when you leave. I would just like to see a longer cord in the future. The button can be a bit fickle at times, seems to just get stuck down and not want to stop vaping. Just have to push it back up and its all ok.
NEW PCC UNITS
What a cool new idea. I love being able to see my PCC units battery level in an accurate level. No more " is it charge? did I charge it last night, meh it should be fine for today" only to have it die before I get out of class. Now I know exactly how much batter life is left. And unlike the older pcc units, you can now fit two manuals and still be able to close the lid.
I'm not quite sure why there is a flashlight on the bottom of the unit now, kinda cool, but kinda weird.
The only real downside I have with the new pcc unit is that its hard as hell to get the batteries in and out. Maby its just the manual batteries, I havent charged any autos yet. But the button get stuck on the side, I have on multiple occasions now pulled the buttons off when trying to get the batteries in and out of the unit.
I am however glad to see Modernvapor went back to using at least some foam in the pcc units, the hard plastic ones were infamous for parts falling out, and buttons being ripped off.
All in all a good buy if you want to know where your battery stands on the pcc unit, and if you cant find your keys at night and don't have a flashlight on you.
