The biggest trick to getting them to last is keeping them wet, without drowning them. Too wet is almost as bad as too dry.

Agreed....I keep mine just a whisker under flooded at all times and these things last me months! Either that or I have the golden touch....and i'm not seein a whole lotta gold around here.

Question: Should I wait to try my 306 on my new Woodvil? I don't have it in hand yet, but would like some ideas of what that first vape should come from as far as attys. If anyone has ideas, thanks.

Keep in mind that your 306 will take a few days to break in....so it might not be as pleasant as you like...just want you to be prepared for that. Not saying don't use it....but make sure you prime it well and keep it wet. :)

You mean they get better??? I forgot that part of my past 510 use. The joye 306's stayed the same imo from the first puff on. But if these cisco's and the IKV's (that came today:2cool:) get any "better" I don't think I could stand it. Fresh batt and a new 2.0 = :vapor:BLISS:vapor:

I used it on my Grand and liked it. Just wondering if the difference in the mods would make it best to wait. I don't have that much experience yet with the atty's. I use sweet juices a lot and they themselves cause some problems. I like a LR in general on the Grand. Thanks.

Not very happy with my IKV 306 anymore. After using it for a few hours, the draw got really stiff. And the clear cannon drip tip is just "okay." I like the clear and I like the feel of it, but the way it holds a ring of juice in the middle is just ......ed.

I wonder if the "sleeve" that sits inside has moved, and closed off the airflow through the little side holes...?

I had to resurrect this thread to say one more time how much I enjoy the 306 now that I have the 2Ω version.

Right now I have them on 4 out of 5 REOs :)

My mini which had always been my cartomizer on the go mod has had one on for the last 4 days (the same one :) btw)
They either run much dryer than a 510 or seep less juice when not in use (or both) because my catch cup stays almost dry on the mini. Certainly dry enough to pocket without worry of juice stained cloths..... Yay. For reference with a 510 on the mini I can have a dry cup when I'm drawing on it and sit it down only to find the cup full to the top after sitting for 15 minutes.

Back to the same atty for 4 days ..... never have I done this before. About the most I get out of a 510 is 2 days before its just not performing as well as it should. Not a big deal, I keep about 15 attys in rotation and steam clean the used ones every two or three days. But I'm going to leave that 306 on the mini and see just how long it goes.

I bough 5 of the 2 ohm 306 attys a week ago from Avid (Cisco) and all ready have 10 more on the way :)

They perform almost flawless on the woodvils .... almost as much flavor as a 2.3 ohm atty with much more vapor.

Something about the construction allows me to get the perfect squonk amount everytime without ever flooding or winding up dry.

What a difference and extra .5 ohms make because I had nothing but trouble with 1.5 ohm 306s.
I used them many many times and always ended in juice in the mouth or burning the wick from being dry.
I swear the 2Ω needs about 1/2 the juice to perform perfectly vs the 1.5Ω

My long standing recommendation for "If you could only have one atty" make it a 2.0Ω Cisco 510 just might be changing ..... I'll give it a few more weeks.

But I'm thinking the 2Ω Cisco 306 might be the new king of versatility !!

I also like his 2Ω atties better than 1.5Ω for both 510 and 306.

Any opinions on the new 1.8Ω yet?

I got two of the 306 1.8's a couple weeks ago and I really like them in the morning. In the afternoon I like to switch over to the 306 1.5 ohm for a hotter vape but the 1.8's have real nice flavor imo.

Don't have any 1.8 in 306. In the 510 Cisco the 1.8 seems really close to 2.0Ω
I don't see the need to confuse the issue and "stock" both, just pick one or the other and stick with it :)

My favorite atty is the Cisco 306LR 1.5, but I am using them on my eGo batteries. The 1.8 and 2.0's were too cool on 3.2-3.4 ego batteries, but I can see how they'd be perfect on 3.7 mods. The 1.5's drain my 1000 maH ego batteries in 4-5 hours of very heavy vaping.

I've tried the Joye and Bauway and they don't compare. Bauway have a high fail rate and the Joye ones are inconsistent-- I've had great ones and horrible ones. Cisco's seem to be very consistent and have longevity if you don't run them dry. They are well worth the extra cost.

Try the GoodProphets.com for .99 long delrin 306 drip tips. They are long enough to keep juice out of your mouth and even work with eGo cones. Avidvapers also has XL delrin tips that work well but they are a good bit longer than Good Prophets longs and look a bit goofy. At 99 cents get a few because they can stretch a bit from the heat over time and become leaky.

Dewick your 306 attys to avoid burning fiberglass/silica wick nastiness. With just a pair of tweezers it's pretty easy to pull the strands out for a cleaner taste.
