Hi everyone!
I currently have been making about .6-.7 ohm coils on a mech but would like to accomplish a comparible vape with a vv device so that I have consistent voltage through the whole battery. Since vv's have watt limitations I am looking for ways to get a vape up to par with what I'm getting out of my mech. Someone told me that they are getting a vape at 9 watts using ribbon wire, comparible to a .8 ohm with round wire on their mech. I'd like to try this:)
so.... I'm wondering what gauge, or dimensions or whatever of ribbon wire I should get, how many wraps, any helpful tips....
if it helps, I'm thinking about getting a vv reo grand so my watt limits are 15 I believe.
So basically I'm wondering how to accomplish a vape comparible to sub ohm on a mech, but using a vv at lower power.
thanks!

i run 32 or 30 g equivalent

.4X.1 for 32g
.6X.1 for 30g

for around 1.8 ohms im running i think 5 wraps of the 30 ( i could be using 32) around two strands of 3mm silica in my drippers. right around 4 volts( maybe a touch higher) with the regulated mods anything above 1.3 or so should be fine.

wrap it snug and very close, basically touching,so it almost looks like a little metal tube.

its not going to be massive ultra sub ohm youtube clouds, but it will belt out some thick vapor. (with the right airflow of course)
