I just ordered my Richman Hybrid. I was looking for a frosted tank to go with the matte finish, but couldn't find one. I did find the glow in the dark option though. Has anyone got one of these? I was just wondering if it is 100% white, or if it's just opaque. Either way, I can't wait for it to get here!

Hey all. Silly monkey has been posting all my hybrid stuff in the rba thread. Thanks for moving the pics Rich.
I still have the dual micro build on it. Was a bit of a tricky build, but with the air hole opened to 1/16" directly between the 2 coils, it produces such incredible flavor and vapor.
The mod never lags on firing, and not a single issue with quality.

I have been trying to duplicate your dual coil & I just can't get it....grrr..... Driving me nuts...lol
Would love to know how you did it... Ya know, Kevin I'd be happy to get some lessons on dual coils, be it YouTube, Skype or Google Hangout... I'm pretty sure I prefer a cotton wick & I'm excellent at making single & dual coils for my RDA's & even though I prefer dual coils... I can't seem to get it right on a genesis type atty ... (rme)
At any rate I'm still so very HAPPY with my hybrid & speaking about "PIF" the day my Richbrid arrived, I gave my next door neighbor my KTS mod, a ProTank & juice.... And if that wasn't enough, I knew if I bought the Richman I'd be short on my bills, plus being a single parent & handicapped to boot... with school starting & all, I would have fallen short. Luck would have it, for the first time ever....a friend of mine helped out & got my daughter her school supplies & shoes, at the last minute. The night before school started, I found out my neighbors daughter (same neighbor) didn't have any school supplies at all & no clothes... So I did what I'd hope most people would do... I went to Walmart & bought her daughter school supplies & an outfit for the 1st day of school, with my paypal debit card. I swear had I known ahead of time, I'd get help with school I would have gotten the Richman Hybrid myself. But if Kevin hadn't helped me... I wouldn't have been able to help a child in need. I hope your not upset or angry about where your money really went, but I wanted to be honest & let you know.... So to be truthful, I'll never be able to thank you enough Kevin, for giving me the means to help someone else. And seeing the smile on Sarah's face (neighbor's daughter) for her 1st day of High School....Well, that was pretty frikk'in Awesome

As for the dual coils, i've had a lot of practice. Once i had the coils made (wrapped on a 1/16" drill bit), I put bits into both coils to maintain their shape, angle and position. Mounted the negative legs first, then the positive legs.
Wicking it was a bit of a task!
I'll so a tutorial in the near future, but I won't be home until the end of the month.

I can use some guidance when it comes to dual coils, for some reason no matter how many videos I watch, it always takes a few tries to get them to work... And yet I still don't know exactly what I'm doing wrong. I'm wondering if maybe I'm putting the wire in wrong or perhaps something along those lines. Am I supposed to wrap them opposite or something? (smh) Aw Well, my .6 ohm single coils hit great for the moment, but I'm gonna have to upgrade to dual coils sooner or later... I just need to know what to look for... (smil'in) I took my Richbrid out for the first tie 2day & 5 people in Walmart stopped me inquiring about my hybrid...(smh) They all said the same thing..."I've never seen such a beautiful ecig & where can I get one that blows clouds as thick as yours... One guy asked "Are you selling tickets too Asgard ?... I looked at him kinda puzzled & then he said "Cuz my Blu's could never make clouds thick enough for Thor to hide in"....lol And yeah, I put him on to the ECF app for Android, a few Facebook pages for vaping tips & Richman vapors home of the best American made Hybrid ecig... By the way Rich, whats the odds of getting an extra top cap? I really would like to have an all day vapor cap & a show off "cloud road" to Asgard type of cap...lol You know what I mean... Happy Vapes All Around...
Honestly, to me, dual coils are more of a novelty. A dual micro coil isn't any better or worse than a single as far as flavor goes...
All it does is kills a battery and drains the tank faster.
Nonetheless, i'll do a work-up on that build for you when i get home in a few days.

i'd be very interested if you made a hybrid RDA version.... maybe? i love the matte finish and the overall look of it. the drip tip you offer is quite the pairing as well.
I have ONE complaint with my Richman....it vapes WAAAAAY too well!!! I have 500 mesh, single coil, 4 wraps of 30g kanthal and this thing blows my head off!!! It's taking some getting used to in comparison to everything else I have. I can not vape it nearly as much or as hard as I pull all my others. Even my other mechs that are setup the same way don't come close to my Richman.
My wick is seasoned now and the flavor is great too. I literally can only pull on it for a second or two or I start coughing like when I was "vaping" in college with my frat brothers *WINK*WINK*...HAHAHA Thanks Rich!

Yeah, this hybrid is up there with some of the high end attys i have used. The reduced top cap makes for a big difference from the v1 rba. It's definitely a hard hitter. I've got it at .8ohms 28guage 3/4 stainless cable. The flavor is great. You cannot go wrong with one of these, especially for the price. The only issue Ive really seen is some people talking about battery rattle and the screw being all the way out. But mine is like this, and it does not affect the voltage drop.
im sooo bummed i vaped one tank in my hybrid and i decided to put a smoked tank on my hybrid instead of my v1 gen tank and while putting it back together i tightened it just a hair too much and that was it the threading wont catch when its screwed down all the way i just got it on saturday and now i cant use it at all i contacted rich to see if there is anything he can do im just waiting for a reply i dont really wanna be using epoxy to keep it together if the is a fix for it ill post a pic the sleeve is whats is stripped so the top of the atty will not stay tight 
Hybrid RDA could be an option. The only problem is I don't normally use RDA.
