Got mine in yesterday and it is really nice. The finish is consistent all the way around and logo is not smudged but is pretty light and modest. The larger top screws are a nice addition. Other than that there isn't much difference between the AGA-T2. The pyrex is the same size so any T+ or T2 tanks should work with out issue. I am very pleased with my purchase. Although I like the finish, surprisingly it will pick up oils from your fingers really easy. Thinking about maybe giving it a brushed or polished finish. Anyone have any tips on how to refinish this thing? All I have is a Dremmel I'm hoping that will get the job done

I got mine yesterday as well. I went to try and mod it to match my Natural getting close but still needs a little more polishing.

Thank you so much! I was going to find that out on my own when mine arrives, but advanced notice has made my day. I have 3 painted tubes for AGAT's and I was really hoping to use at least one of them. Now to find out how well AGAT replacement o-rings work, I have a few of those too.
As for refinishing, a Dremmel will work but it would take a long time with those tiny little brush and polish wheels. I've polished CPU heat sinks to a mirror finish with sandpaper going down to 2000 grit, but those are flat, much less surface area, and it still took a very long time. I'm going to use a bench grinder wire brush wheel to give my RichMan's a brushed look, but for a mirror surface shine it's going to take some time with a felt polishing wheel. I'm sick of the shiny chrome look on everything myself, a satin/brushed look is what I'm hoping for. Good luck with your polishing!

Satin/ Brushed is what I am going for too!! A wire wheel will get me there? Do you have any pics of something you wire wheeled?

The O-rings will work they just switched it to the gromet on the newer ones. There is no special channel or anything so I don't see why they wouldn't work. I was thinking about your threading issue. I was having a similar problem. The post that screws into the top and bottom cap has to different sides to it (at least on the T2 it does). One side has a short space then threads the other side has a larger space then threads. The small space should go down into the bottom cap. I had mine spun around with the short to the top and it would pull off the threads really easy.... just a thought

I won't have my RichMan's RBA until this weekend, and I've only wire wheel brushed my copper pipe mod so no pics of brushed Stainless Steel yet. I'll get something posted here as soon as possible.

Thank you so much! Those posts were screwed in really tight on both my AGAT+'s. I though the metal center tube was part of the bottom cap, I didn't even think of trying to unscrew it.

After reversing it, everything threads great! Now if they just weren't so freakin' ugly compared to RichMan's...

I just hold the wire at the tension I want it while screwing it closed. If that sounds hard, with appropriate sized hardware, then you need to spend the best 12 bucks of your rba life.

edit: there was supposed to be a picture of the siam 510 stand, makes rebuilding so much better.

That and it's a pain to thread them back on the post. These, on the richman, are not bad and I would be honest. I sold my AGA rather than deal with it, it wasn't worth it to me, not worth the $14 I paid in a coop for it.

Quick Mod for the AGA-T's...
Take out middle & bottom screws...
Will need a spring from a ball point pen (clicky pen) & 1or 2 small washers...
Place the spring 1st & then your washers ....replace 1 screw on top & there you have it !!
A modded AGA-T... easy peezy.., If spring is too long or not enough room for 2 washers, can use 1 or you can cut the spring as needed with wire cutters & your good to go... Happy Vapes Everyone !!!

My RM arrived a couple of days ago, finally got around to getting some pics on my IM Roller

Fit and finish were good, no blemishes or anything. Set up was easy and the vape is great. The finish isn't a perfect match to the Roller but it is pretty darn close. Great atty for the price, thanks!
As mentioned, a matching drip tip to top it off would be great.

Some number of posts after your quoted post, I state how I am not a huge fan of the spring and washer setup. I mostly prefer the zen style screw on top of the positive but I prefer the larger nut of the richman to the spring and washer style.

I don't actually lack the know how, I lack the ambition to modify an AGA. I'll just buy something that already comes in a manner that I like it instead.
