Looks amazing, is your air hole level with your wick? thanks
Got mine yesterday. Mine has a very minor "spot" on the finish, but I'm not griping really. No chips in the tank whatsoever. Larger screw are nice. I guess I just wish every rba went with the spring and washer method. But that's jsut me and I WILL be buying another of these. I'd say the finish match to the Ice Matte Roller/Dingo is about 99%. Here are a couple photos in 18500 and 18350 modes.

That looks nice! You have a matte telescope tube, or is it polished? Hard to tell from the photo.

Ya I also do much better with silica. the air hole ids right in front of the wick, it fires no hot spots flavor is amazing but no throat hit at all and little vapor.

Hmmm... I usually get the best throat hit from mesh. I think we might need to see a picture of your setup to see what's going wrong. Are all of your coils firing up equally? Sometimes I don’t even see a hotspot, but the top coil glows much brighter than the rest. The only other thing I can think about is maybe your coils aren't wrapped tight enough? I wrap them pretty tightly, but come to think of it I'm not sure just how tightly you're supposed to wrap with mesh. haha

Could you post how you have your silica setup? I've been using silica on my RDA, but have only done mesh on my genesis styles. Closest i've done is is a silica strand (2mm) rolled inside mesh.

It's pretty simple... just remove the grounding screw and make a U-wick with the silica. Wrap the wire from the main positive post to that dinky little raised grounding post (almost like you would see in a Smok R-Tank), and you're good to go. :)

Just to ask, has anyone had any juice leaking out of the air hole? It's not really leaking, more like just accumulating (I'm assuming from the condensation of the vapor), but I'm not sure if this is normal.

Overall, mine has been performing very well... it's very nice not having to fiddle with no resistance wire (my other two tanks require it, and it can be a pain to get right, especially when using mesh). For the looks/performance to price ratio, I'd say this is one of my best and favorite investments.

It's the natural matte telescopic inner tube and easy twist switch. I originally bought it in all Ice Matte, but went ahead and bought a natural matte inner tube and switch when Atmizoo was sending me some replacement 510 connectors. With the RM RBA, all Ice Matte looks great, but I like the inner matte tube because it matches ALL of my RBA's when it's extended. But I guess with an extra Ice Matte tube and switch now, I can "customize" to my heart's content.

YES TO THE AIR HOLE WEEP! I'm not sure if it's normal either? But I thought I was crazy.

I think I might try a silica wick to experiment.

To anyone having hot spots, try using a small precision screwdriver and adjust the coils WHILE they are glowing. It makes it MUCH easier to work it out. This is my RBA "tool kit" and works great for cheap: Amazon.com: Stanley 66-052 6-Piece Precision Screwdriver Set: Home Improvement

Yeah. I actually have a tiny screwdriver set that i use for working on my laptop. Should work

Just use it when you're firing the coil and it's glowing. You can work out hotspots in like 10 seconds. Provided you don't have the top "leg" too tight. Pretty cool though cause you can see how adjusting the individual wrap affects all the others immediately.

Ok ordered another RM RBA last night. I DO have the weep hole leaking pretty crazily though. Much more noticable than any other RBA I have. Like sometimes, it leaks nutso. Just an FYI there.

What, what, WHAT... what do u mean? May I request some elaboration on that pls.

I'm curious too?

By "weep hole", what are you referencing? I run my genesis atomizers with the fill hole unplugged to help with wicking. Is that what you mean?

I know that with the fill hole open, I have to keep it stood up so it doesn't leak/flood, but it's due to not plugging the fill hole.

He's referring to the 'air hole' on the bell cap. I'm yet curious to know how it's 'weeping', and that too 'crazily'?

BTW, I never keep my 'fill holes' unplugged... neither in the Aga-T2.2 nor the RSST... and I've no wicking issues, whatsoever. AND none of my RBAs 'weep' thru the 'air hole'... not as yet.

I keep my fill hole completely open on Genesis RBA's too, but 100% VG is some tricky stuff.
You can't lay Genny's on their side anyways, so it's never been a problem.
Some pics as promised, but I'm not quite done polishing yet.

RichMan's RBA on my PoorMan's copper mod.

Before polishing...

And after round one...

Using a Dremmel's wire wheel did not make an obvious difference to the original matte finish, so I decided to go for a full shine. I used a Dremmel for polishing on the first round, but it took a really long time and was not very consistent, so the next round will be with a drill and a cloth wheel polisher. I'm the only person that will ever see this thing, so I'm not going to go through too much more trouble with it.

Same for me. I keep the 'Phil' hole plugged on all my gennys. Doesn't matter whether I'm using cable or mesh (solid or small center hole), they all wick properly & I don't have to vape horizontally either.

Phil Hole is plugged. I too always keep Phil's hole plugged.

Air hole weep: yes the RM RBA, at least in my case, and as observed by somebody else up there, seems to weep. Looks like the condensation that builds up under the cap is weeping out the air hole. Quite a bit at times in my case. This has nothing to with tilting. I dont tilt THAT much. I also wonder if it is the matte finish that makes it more noticeable? Or in other words, do I get this weeping on my other RBA's and I don't notice it due to their finish?

Maybe it is the juice I am using? Maybe it is the temp I vape at?

For the record I got in some Jameson's Tanjello just for the RM RBA, DAMN IS IT GOOD! But it is thicker. I don't vape THAT hot, I usually vape at 1 ohm, never below .9. Never lay it on it's side.

It's not a deal breaker, as I just bought another. It's just something I noticed, and it was pretty DAMN weepy earlier. As noted I'm not the only one who has noticed it.

Nice. I made my first silica/mesh wick earlier. Wrapped a 2mm strand in 400 mesh. Wicks incredibly. Thinking i'll use either that, or the tank/drip all silica like I posted in the RBA forum

I need to try this, I have a bunch of 2mm wick that I've never touched. How long does the wick last with the silica?
