Phil Hole is plugged. I too always keep Phil's hole plugged.

Air hole weep: yes the RM rba, at least in my case, and as observed by somebody else up there, seems to weep. Looks like the condensation that builds up under the cap is weeping out the air hole. Quite a bit at times in my case. This has nothing to with tilting. I dont tilt THAT much. I also wonder if it is the matte finish that makes it more noticeable? Or in other words, do I get this weeping on my other rba's and I don't notice it due to their finish?

Maybe it is the juice I am using? Maybe it is the temp I vape at?

For the record I got in some Jameson's Tanjello just for the RM RBA, DAMN IS IT GOOD! But it is thicker. I don't vape THAT hot, I usually vape at 1 ohm, never below .9. Never lay it on it's side.

It's not a deal breaker, as I just bought another. It's just something I noticed, and it was pretty DAMN weepy earlier. As noted I'm not the only one who has noticed it.

Yeah, mine is pretty sad most of the time.

But I'm on the opposite side of the juice/heat spectrum; I'm vaping at about 1.7 ohms, with rather thin juice... 70/30. So I doubt it's the juice we're using. Perhaps there's more empty space in the top cap than other genesis atomizers? Or perhaps... just perhaps... juice "sticks" to the matte finish better than a polished or brushed?

Like you said, it's in no way a deal breaker. It's just curiosity I noticed. :)

For the record, mine is rockin' strong! However, I notice it eats through juice like there's no tomorrow. A total fill in my Terminator or EA M Tank (which also uses mesh) will last me two days easy (and both are filled with 2mLs), but I feel my Richman would last about a day (on 3mLs). Not a bad thing, unless it's causing juice to magically disappear.

I need advice with the Richman
I am sure its my fault, this is my first mesh rba
Very little flavor
Dry hits and very harsh hits
My ohms are about 1.8 to 2.2 (they fluctuate
Using the 400 mesh
Could it be that the mesh is too tight?
No hot spots on coils
And I have no idea what the post with the drilled hole is, cloth wick?

No flavor and dry, harsh hits are a sure sign of a short. Its not from rolling the mesh too tight but could happen if you wrap the coils too tightly and cut into the mesh. Try adjusting the coils and keep at it, it will behave eventually.
The raised negative post is for use with a horizontal silica type wick.

From my experience, a tightly rolled mesh wick will work better than a loosely rolled one. In essence, the smaller the hole down the center of the wick, the less the juice has to fight against gravity.

Here's a nice app that lets you know how much mesh to use to make a "solid" wick (this works for any genesis):

PV Web Apps

Just use the size of the wick hole as the exterior diameter of the wick.

Also, be sure the air hole is diretly in front of your wick. That could be why you're getting harsh hits.

Got mine in today. Very nice! Set it up with a 400 mesh-wrapped 2mm silica wick.

Vapes great.

I can now see why one might have a slight leak issue with this. The air hole sits right at the level of the deck of the atomizer. Any over-wicked juice that doesn't reabsorb into the wick can easily jump right out the hole. There is absolutely zero lip between the deck and the air hole.

I haven't had any leaking, but i can see juice/condensation in the hole after a few vapes.

I do have a question: what is the raised post with the tiny screw for? This is my first RBA to have this? Only thing I could think of is a negative post for alternate wick setups by removing the screw right next to it?

The raised post is the negative for silica users.

Try use the 500 mesh. Sometimes different juices work better for 500 and vise versa for the 400. RBA's can be tricky, sometimes take awhile to figure out what works best for you. But once you get the hang of it, you'll never go back to cartos. Much better flavor and throat hits.

If all wraps are glowing red while you have juice in the tank it is a wicking issue. Also, a short may or may not be visible, micro shorts will give you a nasty hit and be difficult/impossible to see.
Try dripping a few drops of juice directly on the wick and see if that helps.

I received mine last week and love it after having some time to get acquainted with it. I had ordered a shorty drip tip, but Rich accidentally shipped me the longer version. After informing him, he was quick to get back to me. He apologized for the mistake and let me know that he would ship me the shorter version which I received yesterday. Thank you for the great service! I look forward to future releases.

It looks sweet on both of my sigs.

RM Genny Mail.jpg ... Paps-SS + RM Genny Mail.jpg

Ordered on: Jun-06/2013
Shipped on: Jun-06/2013
Arrived on: Jun-19/2013
Total Shipping Time: 13 days <--This sucks. Stuff from FastTech reach me way faster (8-10 days) :(

Also received my 2nd GP Paps today. Greece to Canada = 3-days !

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS
It sure looks good. Beautiful I must actually admit. Contrary to few who received their's slightly blemished - mine came spick-n-span. The logo is in a lighter hue - but I find that better - it's not 'right at ur face'. The machining and overall finish of the Genny is superb... it kind of looks more expensive than what it's actually priced. And yes, I see that it's internals r exactly as of an Aga-T2, the same size and weight as well. However, I find it way more attractive. As of now I'm more than satisfied.
