+∞ for dripping... when you are a dripper everything else is less than satisfactory.

Ditto that. Replacing cartos after two refills? I've had the same atomizer for over four months and carry three of my favorite flavors in small drip bottles. They all complement each each other so the flavor changeover works for me.

Cartos are great for the reasons already mentioned but the fall into the class with ZFMs etc. Autojuicers mods are even less a hassle than cartomisers. If those kind of mods are not in your budget the for sure cartos are the solution....especially LR cartos.

I've burnt up every LR carto I've ever tried in 3 drags or less. :( I kinda hate them! But love the Boge ?standard? cartos. Forgive me, I don't know the technical term. LOL

Is this true?
No it's not true. He just thinks that since he likes cartos that they will quite making 3 piece ecigs cause he likes cartos. I could say the same thing about cartos since I don't like them and will only use atties. Let me give it a try.

With the Tesla filter coming out it will make cartos obsolete and they will quit making cartos. Is it true? No.

equal vapor production and TH is possible, maybe.

equal flavor ... maybe for some tastebuds but as we all know taste is subjective.

convenience .....

cartomizers : once you put a flavor in it it's stuck with that flavor unless you take time to clean it which means needing at least one for each flavor and means taking up extra space for storage and time for cleaning. Also only able to be reused a limited number of times before needing to be replaced.

atomizers: easily change flavors on the go and rarely needs cleaning. Can last for months at a time if not more. Combination of those two things means you could buy just 2 or 3 atomizers and be set for months.

Yeah.... I don't see 3 piece units dying off any time soon ;)

I have to agree with Youthful313, 510 is great for home and maybe work...but Cartomizers are very good these days, and so good for on the go use. Again I say: why everybody be dissin 2-piece design? have an open mind darn you guys! I swear "ECF" should be called 510ECF, with all the carto bashing that goes on in here...lol

510 LR Cartomizers are awesome, love the fact that I can use a fresh atty for a good week, toss it out and start a new one. They are very cheap at 3.00 each and will probably be even less soon, it's the way of the future. Each one lasts I would say as much as a pack of cigs when refilling correctly, maybe even longer. So far I've had for 2 weeks and still going on the same one with many refills. The taste is a little less noticeable on only certain flavors, unfortunately 555 is not the same as with regular attys, but others are much better, very strange and I've switched flavors to Marlboro because of it and enjoy that even more than 555. LR cartomizers produce a huge throat hit, so it's great for those moments when you want a strong hit, and when you don't then just don't hold the button down long or use very low MG. Very satisfied with 510 cartomizers, much easier to deal with, and drip no prob direct through atomizer to refresh. Stuck with a flavor is no prob because they are so cheap, just get more of em. I put small sticky labels on mine to know the difference, no prob, easy.
RIP 3 piece. WOO HOO !!! 3 Piece will be an antique and worth money some day ha ha.

That might be true..... if all of us were willing to sacrifice the best taste for convenience (that isn't really any more convenient) ;)

It is if you want a really good hit, for example when drinking... and taste depends on the flavor you put in. Convenience is having a few different ecigs that will satisfy you at different times. The LR carts make a slim small device turn into a strong hitting cig at the right moment. It's better than breaking out a big ... bullet or screwdriver device. A+A+

2 piece and 3 piece LR is really no difference except you can't open 2 up the same way, it's a different method for getting to the same place, and it simply cuts out one routine for another routine, simple as that. I however find the LR carts much more stable in consistent hits, much less hassle, easier to just add liquid when you feel it diminish in taste, or change the cart all together easy, cheaper, more effective. It's a step in the right direction for long lasting disposable ecigs, but regardless of 3 piece or 2 piece, I think its mostly about everyone's personal preference in their method of routine they prefer. Use an old atty for 2 months, or have a nice fresh one that is guaranteed to hit perfect every time. I notice a huge difference and enjoy it, so something must be right.
