You really can't compare dripping to some of the new gen cartomizers. The're like dripping except they last 50 times longer.

Dripping and 3 piece units are now pretty much pointless. There are some great cartomizers available now.

So who has these "New Generation" cartos? I've used 808's and 510 cartos. The 510 units I got from Nhaler suck! The atty portion is great but they only hold about 10-15 drops before they're saturated (even with the Taryn spin). I really want to find some good cartos. Want to gather some user experiences to define the best out there. Anybody??

To keep on topic - I drip when I have the time and am sitting down a while. I use Cartos for the car and on the run. And I always keep a standard 510 rig (atty, reg cart w/blue foam, mega batt) in my pocket for quick bathroom vape, airplanes, airports etc. My V2 is just too big to have in my pocket all the time.

So I do em all. No question the drip is the best vapor, flavor, hit etc. The Cartos are king for long term convenience.

I better not carry a syringe around with me. I might start shooting up some Marbro! LOL! I better stick with pouring some liquid in my cartridge and a couple of drops on my atty. I've tried the cartos, but the cost difference of filling my own is what sold me. I do get a little e-juice on me every now and then, but till I find something better, it beats the ..... outta smokin' analogs.:toast:

It is if you want a really good hit, for example when drinking... and taste depends on the flavor you put in. Convenience is having a few different ecigs that will satisfy you at different times. The LR carts make a slim small device turn into a strong hitting cig at the right moment. It's better than breaking out a big ... bullet or screwdriver device. A+A+
Easy fella,my screwdriver is pimp!:evil:Is there a carto that will attach to a sdmkII?Be willing to give it a shot.Only other cartomizer I've had is through greensmoke, and they sucked.

For about 85% of cartomizers I find that one line in the other carto thread to be really close to how they taste:

"It was like taking my favorite soft drink, dumping it all over my shirt, then sucking it out of the fabric."

Some blank cartoz are exceptions to that and when I use any, they are the blank 510s. The new mega eGo cartoz are regular polyfil - no center 'hole' or fabric.... no off taste to them.

Cartos taste funny, and you have to refill them. Dripping FTW, +1.

Personally, my cartos taste exactly like they should (I get blank cartos) but I agree, I HATEEEE the taste of 99% of all prefilled cartos... I just can't vape that chinese liquid, they all have a similar off taste.

I had been using cartos for months at 6v, then I was forced to use an atty (all my cartos ran out, and they were out of stock) and I was like WOW (felt like the first time I had ever vaped 6v all over again :D)

So now I'm on the fence... I hate dripping because I'm constantly on the move (can't stand 510 carts) but 510 atomizers just have a kick that cartos don't.

Just can't imagine going back to dripping or filling carts. I like to vape and vape and vape with no hassle.

I can't find anything on these new generation cartos you talk about. Where are you getting them from?

Personally, I am not a fan of cartos. You're stuck with one flavor, the draw is too airy, you lose flavor and there's no option to switch back and forth between dripping and filling a cart.

But, to each his own. Everyone has their own taste, their own style, their own preferences.

Despite not being happy with the current cartos, I would love to try these new generation one you are talking about. I never say "no" to new gear.

Hawaii! Yay haha
Would these new cartos happen to be those 'premium cartos' sold at Vapor4Life? If so, I have a bunch of them with a kit I just ordered for a friend. It's sitting in my desk drawer for her to pick up.

If these are the ones, I'll give it a try! It came with 3 samples, she'll never know one is missing!

EDIT: I see V4L also sells a type of carto called 'WOW' and there's only a handful of flavors. Maybe that's the new gen carto? I got the premium ones...

I have a hard time getting involved in any arguments about carts, cartos, mods, etc... because I'm a direct-coil dripper. Everything else is irrelevant once you reach this level of enlightenment.

Just kidding! It's all good. Anything's better than analogs! :D

whats a direct coil dripper?...

does it require more brain and coordination than normal dripping?
Haha! It requires tweezers - you take out the bridge and wick, so all that's left in the atomizer is the little ceramic tub with the coil inside. So the drop goes right on the coil. Maybe a little hand-eye coordination is needed to perform this minor surgery to the atty :D

Thyestean: Thanks for linking the video, I didn't think of that! That's the exact one I studied to take out the bridge. It's amazing how much drops you save by doing this. With the bridge on, a lot of the drops ride the bridge and exit out the airholes on the bottom of the atty, never reaching the coil.

Drippers, if you've never removed a bridge, please give it a try on one of your old attys. You'll never look back :)

Thanks for the recommendation Ourei! I will have to try that. I just got an eGo yesterday, so I am switching to LR attys exclusively. I can use my regular attys as guinea pigs (insert evil cackle here).
