RIP auto PT

ok I am completely depressed now Last thursday I got my initial order from Steve and in there was my auto passthrough. I love it. it is almost like a pacifier to me I use it in my car while driving around ALL day then I get home and thro\w it on my computer and use it all night.

well I must have over done it or something cause it is now dead I tried it on my car 12v-usb adapter on my usb port on my laptop and on my powered usb hub. all of which worked before but now nothing

I would think a PT should last longer than that shouldn't it?

ya well it is bad enough that I need to get 2 boxes of carts replaced since I don't care for vaping perfume but to add the PT on as well I feel almost guilty like I am taking advantage of the graciousness of Steve but also at the same time I think it is only fair that I get products that work.

Of course it should last longer, it is also made to work with 5 volt, 1000M/a, so 12v may have been too much of a jolt8-o

Either way, order one of our chargers, request another PT, and SMILE

Anything that has a USB port on it will only generate 5v max unless it's the cheapest of the cheap. I strongly suspect (in fact, I'm pretty sure) that running 12v through it would have given you an indication in the form of a flaming cartomizer in pretty short order, so no worries about over-doing it. Just don't get a blank USB connector and run wires straight to your battery

no I was using the cigarette lighter to usb adapter that Steve sent me as a bonus when I got my original order. it is a true V4L product that I was using to power my PT so I reqally don't think that caused the problem. Honestly my GUESS is that one of the connections inside might have broken loose.

I thought my auto PT was dead too. I unplugged it, gave it a thorough scrubbing with alchohol, poked around in the air holes & it vapes just fine now. It won't hurt to try, right? Hope it works for you!

You either have a short (be careful pulling and tugging the cable) or the internal switch got stuck.

Give it a good whack on the table and see if that switch gets loose. Worked for me

well I tried to clean it out and tried to smack it too but neither worked
