Rip Off Warning Modesto California Ca Mall E-Cig Stand

I recently came home to California to visit my family and i was showing my sister my e-cigs to help her quit smoking too. I own a janty stick and kissbox. she has almost quit but an e-cig would help her from sneaking a smoke here and there. so she said she saw an E-cig stand in the Modesto California Mall and asked if i would go with her to check it out.

8-o OMG!!!! they were selling a pen style e-cig 2 batts/1 charger/5 prefilled carts for 200 bucks!!! the chepest was a mini style 1 batt/1 charger/ 5 carts for 130 bucks!!! The Carts were 12 bucks for box of 5 and the juice was 50 bucks for about 10 ML!!!!8-o they all came in white or pink.

Then she shows us the prices on there fake web site and how everything was makred off 50 bucks and it was such a great deal. at this point my sister who knows nothing about e-cigs was sold. So after the Hot chick with the big .... finished her sales pitch i showed her my janty stick and kissbox. told her i got both for under 200 bucks and the janty juice bottle was 10 bucks and we walked away. other people that were watching left too and were asking me where i got mine. told them to just google search "e-cig forums" and do research. I prefer janty so i recomended them.

I just wanted to put this out there so maybe i can help a e-cig noob save some money.

It was a pretty penny, it does help a little bit though, still would love to try Janty Kissbox.

This kinda crap is why I refer everyone I know who's interested in e-cigs to ECF...

This is another brand but my first ecig was a NJOY Npro (aka RN4081) and I bought that for $100 including 2 boxes of filled carts(20 carts). That didn't work out too well and thanks to the info on this forum I now use a 510. Those people prey on the misinformed buyers just like infomercials do.

Haha yeah there's an SE kiosk around here and the guy told me their kits start at around a hundred bucks. I almost laughed.

Then he tried to impress me by showing how easy they are to clean and proceded to demonstrate a dry burn.

Now that I think about it all these tv news stories they do interview Mall shops. Sometime during the story they mention the outragious cost for a ecig. Wonder how many people get turned off by just that!

That's what happened to me too. I bought a SE kit in Vegas. That being said however, without them, I'd have known NOTHING about e-cigs because I'm in Canada.

Sooo, it's a love/hate relationship for me and SE.

Mostly hate.

I think that many people new to vaping feel they get hosed. in desperation to get away from analog smokes we run out to the mall and get what we can immediately purchase. I did the same thing but in hindsight i didnt get ripped off no matter what i paid it was worth it. If i go back to analogs shoot me in the head and put here lies stupid on my grave stone.
