He will most definitely NOT be missed by me. You reap what you sow, and his time for judgment has arrived.

Burn in hell Ted, burn in hell.

*Sigh*
Then start a "BURN IN HELL, TED KENNEDY" thread instead of crapping in this one.

The OP was expressing HER opinion and HER feelings, if you don't agree with her position, OK. Want to rebut her position, open your own thread instead of hijacking hers.

EDIT: And it's a shame that you used Crow T Robot's likeness and attached it to your venom. No ram chips for you, Crooooooow. (And if you are an original MSTIE, you'll know what I mean....)

It's a shame that the supposed "family values" party doesn't have it in them to respect a man who spent his whole life in public service. The hypocrisy is sad to see. No wonder the Republican party finds itself in such a state of decline.
And why very few people take them seriously any longer. They show their true human nature when let out of their cages.

I don't see being a Senator as "public service" it's closer to "self service" to me.

I have to disagree, especially for someone like Ted Kennedy. He could have done nothing due to the wealth of his family. If he had never gone into public life or retreated from public life after the assassinations of his brothers, he would not have had to deal with all the public scrutiny and critics.

As one example of a bill he wrote and sponsered that I do think was a good idea was the American's With Disabilities Act. It was needed and helped many with disabilities lead much more productive lives.

In my opinion Ted Kennedy wasn't exactly the best sort of man, but I do believe he had good intentions for our country. I disagree with almost all of the Legislation he helped push through, but he served this country until the day he died and deserves some damn respect. Even if you don't believe he deserves respect, show some to the folks mourning his loss, as BigJimW did, and hold your peace. His loved ones have my sympathy. Many Americans are mourning the loss of someone they consider very important in organizing and maintaining their agenda; if he doesn't deserve your sympathy, those folks - as our brothers, sisters, neighbors, Fellow Americans - do.

I've read some very indecent posts in this thread. SurfMonkey said it best. It's a sad thing indeed.

Time to stop your silly crying, for goodness sakes,it has been all over every stinking channel for 3 days! I for one am sick of it! That man is nothing to cry over IMHO.

Should have started a
Who wants to urinate on Ted Kennedys grave thread

Would have been very popular by these responses

See post #105. I don't feel like repeating myself.

I didn't agree with many of his positions, but I respected his service to the country and how he handled the many burdens due to the deaths of so many in his family. I think highly of Senator McCain and Senator Hatch and although not in Senator Kennedy's party, they had great repect for him. That's says much.
Thank you for the positive note. I was in stitches listening to Sen. Hatch deliver his memories the other night. :D

Argue as we may, dispute the facts but the truth is: More people have died in Ted Kennedy's car than from using electronic cigarettes. Opinions spur discussion, truth about our product is the reality we have to focus on in the face of our enemies. Vapers become intense people because of our opposition, ex smokers become frustrated because they haven't found the alternative. Vapers Unite!
