I used hornets (era minis) then switched to chalices. Then got an RM2. Sold 2 of the 3 chalices. The other one is in a drawer. Bought 5 more RM2s since then. They're all I use.

vape is equal to chalice, easier to build than chalice, readily available, parts readily available.

Nuff said :)

Not only are parts more readily available and very inexpensive for RM2 but one has to work really hard to build a short with RM2.

Just how much do the Chalice screws cost?

Well said Alice. Chalice screws - About $5 each to have em shipped when you buy 8 of em. And it'll take about 3 weeks :)

YIKES!! Are the Chalice screws some sort of proprietary threading or something?

Yep. There are very shallow threads on them wedge shape titanium screws. The posts have no threads on the second run - the magic screws grab the wire for a friction connection. It's ingenious really.

I have both RM2's and ERA, I agree the RM2 is easier to build, has the ceramic deck and more room between post.
It makes it much easier to center the air hole on the coil.
Only reason to chose the ERA in my opinion is if you just want the slightly smaller size or just the looks.
The draw is tighter on the ERA compared to the RM2, I opened up the ERA's to match the RM.
My last 2 RBA's were RM2' the next will be also.
It's much easier to get new vapors started with the RM.
Just my :2c:
