My fav build in a RM4 is a dual 26g 2mm ID 8 wraps netting about .35 ohms. She gets a little warm, but man, does it throw vapor and flavour.
I've also done dual twisted 28g, netting .4ohms, if you want to get a bit fancier.
I've never had a problem with it sitting high, tho - my one and only example is a nice flush fit (on a non-upgraded 510).

My regular RM4 build is dual coil, 26g kanthal, 2mm diameter coils, 7 wraps. Comes out to about .4 ohms.
28g dual 2mm coils at around 0.5 ohms. Sits a bit high on multiple mods. Have an Odin and a Vector bottom feeders and the RM4 is still my favourite. I should take the hint and stick to small diameter attys.
The RM4 has a fairly long 510 connector. Mine don't sit flush, even with the new 510 in the Reos.
But, aside from that, I may be in the minority, but I still believe the RM4 is one of the most under rated and over looked 'flavor' attys there is. It's a dinosaur, by today's standards; but still one of my favorites. Flavor wise, it's right up there with the Nuppin and the Manta.

I just loaded up with raz cup. The rm4 might be dedicated to that now.

I thought I was a natural at squonkin until putting on this atty. I haven't inhaled this much cotton smoke since my first couple weeks Dripping. But that's operator error.

I gave this atty a fair shake. Replicated builds I have read about and what not.
I was able to get a good vape and like the atty. While it may be an under appreciated dinosaur, and better than some newer devices, it falls short of the rm8 for flavor according to my tastes.
