My passthrough works fine on my usb car adapter that i use for my ipod. I also use my ipod wall charger to plug into a powerstrip, so I can vape from my lazyboy. It doesn't work to well from my laptop usb ports, but vapes like a champ from the desktop ports. My next purchase will be a powered usb hub so I don't have to use the ipod a/c adapter.

hope that helps!

A powered hub is the way to go. You won't have to worry 'bout trashing your USB port on the 'puter.

As an added convenience, check out Best Buy for the 110v to USB adapter. Same performance as the car adapter, but you can plug it right into the wall socket.

I ordered my straight thru from puresmoker a week ago, and haven't seen it yet. No response from them either. I'm starting to wonder.

This is an edit;
I'm not wondering anymore. The mess-up was with Paypal. I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I just have to wait again.

hello again
DOES IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE WHAT POWERS THE USB HUB

DESKTOP, LAPTOP, CAR DEVICE OR A KENNSINGTON, REAGRDING THE AMOUNT OF POWER SUPPLIED. OR IS IT ALL BASCIALLY THE SAME

If I were to use ( for fun sake, a tank) would we get a bigger more powerful punch??

Since I received the passthough, I have not used a battery once...

Suppose I would need the batteries if I am going to be away from my car, home, or cpu for a while, but I have realized, that that's rarely the case for me...

This is killin' me!!!!:-x I've been trying to get my hand on one of those for a month now. I got close last week, but my order got messed up. Now they're out of stock.

The USB hub's power is supplied by a 110v power pack. You plug the power supply into the wall socket, and that will supply the hub. You'll need the hub when plugging too many USB's into the computer at the same time. The computer power supply can't handle the load, and someting will give. It's just basically an added power source to protect the 'puter.

My hub has 4 USB ports. A fifth port goes to the computer for data transfer. The 110v outlet power, powers the hub's 4 ports.

Actually, if you only power your ciggi from a hub, you won't have toconnect it to the computer, since the ciggi dosen't transfer data. And if that's the case, just pick up a 110v to USB adapter from Best Buy, and go directly to the wall. that eliminates the added cost of a hub.

Cheers;

I bought a second powered USB hub that is dedicated for my ecigs. It's not connected to computer at all. It's a little 4 slot. My other is a 7 slot powered hub that is just for my computer equipment.
