Want a mech built like a tank for work. Has to take a kick + 18500, be robust, reliable and I don't care what it looks like. Oh and no alloys. Had a nemesis clone at work it lasted 4 days before it was trashed. Have ss vamo v5 for work now put the 510 threads are almost done and its so fff-ing big.
Ones Ive been looking at are Panzer clone, magneto, bolt. Like the bolt but can you lock the switch and can you kick it??
Price: under a 100 bucks.
Grateful for suggestions.
the m 16 feels like a tank. hits hard, nice feel in hand, you will need to loctite the button which is the only thing i hate about this mod.
idk if it fits a kick or not though
When you lock-tite the button contact on the M16 you lose the conductivity of the spring and will get misfires unless you are careful to press the bottom button at an angle. If you are super careful and use a drop the size of a pin head about where the contact threads will terminate on the switch shaft you will not lose much conductivity.
Kinda defeats the whole draw of the M16 which is it's outstanding lack of voltage drop.
It does not fit a kick as the kick needs to be houses at the top. Inner diameter there is too big.
Are the 510 threads on the brass version made of aluminum or brass? Can't seem to find a direct answer for this question. What is the mod to the left of your sentinel?I must have posted this in another thread, but here's a few photos that shows the difference between "shiny" and "tarnished."
First, a photo of my solid brass Sentinel clone when I first got it.

And here's a group photo just showing a few shiny mods side by side with some naturally tarnished ones.

Thanks and great lineup you gave!
Threads are solid brass on that version. I know there ARE versions floating around that have aluminum threads though, so be on the lookout and ask the vendor if they don't specify in their description.
The mod to the left of it is a Sigelei 19E. I think the "E" designates it as brass. I bought separate stainless steel top and bottom caps. Right now it's giving me issues though, so it's out of rotation. There's a bad short in the button (I think) and it will arc and give you a lots of little shocks. Not good! So, until I get a replacement set of stainless steel top and bottom caps, it's on the sidelines. I even bought a new set of magnets for the button and it STILL shorts.
Shame too, because before the shorting issue, it was a killer mod!
Have you come across any American made mods that are similar to the M16 as far as size/telescoping/power? Love the Super T Ela but I never catch it when it's available.
Since almost all of my mods are clones, I don't have a good answer. My only "legit" US made device is an iHybrid Pure. And I've got a Richman Hybrid on the way. But threading isn't an issue for either of those, being genesis hybrids. Sorry!
Thanks for your help! I snooped around and found a STAINLESS STEEL/Brass version. No more aluminum.![]()
I have a feeling Im not gonna find everything I want, so heavy duty would be prio 1, its has to be kickable, Id blow myself up at work with a unprotected mod. Its like when I got out drinking I always throw a kick in my mod after I got a battery to vent on me while drunk.
I don't have that one, but it sure does sound solid!
If you killed two "real" KFLs, (and a battery and a kick) then you overpaid.
However, if they were clones, then you paid a fair price for those digits.
Assuming, of course, you DID get her number.
You did.
