I just hope all of you had a great mother's day. I learned that once I had my own family, I would celebrate this day a little differently. This is the first that this was stripped away from me. It was a rough day needless to say.

No, they always like to go someplace out in East bum...f which takes an atlas, compass, gps, full tanks of gas and snacks to get there!

I feel you pain man. The first few years of holidays after my divorce were some of the worst times of my life. My kids usually went with their dad (long story) and I usually ended up curled up in a ball in my bed closed off from the world and sobbing for two days. As I've offered before....anytime, I'm just a phone call away. Don't hesitate to lean on friends.

I did indeed go and that is all I believe I am allowed to say on that! We had fun and it was out there but awesome so so glad I went though I couldnt finish what I got and am not sure how anyone could earn the darn t-shirt LOL
I tried one but the coil needs to be tight on the wick and you have to be very gentle. I never wrapped one successfully and kind of gave up. Not patient enough.
To get it to function well, you need to wrap the coil with a torch. I might as well stick with 500 mesh.

I break enough stuff I am totally not going to get into anything ceramic unless its the nextel stuff (at least that looks like i wouldnt break it!)
So...my mom wants to see one of her kids have a real wedding...and apparently sham weddings are almost as expensive as the genuine article.

yea my 1st ex, she had custody for a while until I proved her in court to be an unfit mother lol... she always stuck me with our son on mother's day and her b'day (may3rd lol) so she could go out to party and get drunk (among other things lol), and I never got to see him for father's day or most of the holidays lol...everything she did was to piss me off or make it difficult because I divorced her lazy, loser @$$ for cheating on me. needless to say, we both had 50% legal custody and I could see him whenever I wanted, but she loved to deny me
... buck up lil camper, things get better when I gained custody in court, she NEVER had him for the holidays (vengance is sweet too as my son didnt want to see her either), and she could not see my son unless it was supervised heeheehee.... the best part was, my son wanted nothing to do with her, and after he graduated HS and moved into his own place w/ his GF (now wife), he disowned her for all the crud she put us through....hell, she remarried a couple years ago and asked Jr to be best man (for the @$$ she cheated on me with lol), had that jerk go to my son's house to beg him... Jr said he has no mother, then said he needed to leave and never come back if he wanted to see his next b'day, in some not so nice words then shut the door in his face..like father, like son...

I'm quite psyched, an almost 3 yr waiting period is over for this I almost pulled another all-nighter (both nights playin' Guild Wars 2) and wouldve been up for 3 days, but just woke from a few hrs nap, myself
