Well...in the security line, I noticed the guy in front of me dropped a $100 bill. I point it out and bend to pick it up...then my mini falls from my pocket, shattering the tank and breaking the end off my doughnut Trippy tip. ....

I hope he let you keep the $100 for trying to help him or at least split it with you! That would have been the kind thing to do.

Things will get better. It's impossible not to fall in love with Europe. I am beyond envious!

That's too bad dude. That's what happens when you try to be a good person.

Well, I survived Charlotte, and the flight from CLT to FCO wasn't looking bad...until, I realized the guy next to me has a bladder like a chipmunk. So, he was up to use the lavatory every couple hours. Good luck sleeping. Then, the last two hours of the flight, he went into 'let me tell you about Jesus' mode. So, I get to FCO, get through passport control, get my bag and am on my way. Get to the hotel at about 12:30, take a few hours nap, and then wander around a couple hours before my nighttime Angels and Demons tour starts(cool tour, really). I do regret not learning Italian before I left, but that's why I paid for internet access, to at least get a number of helpful phrases down so I don't feel like a complete tool. Now, I've walked around for 5 hours, I'm kinda tired and quite hungry. So I'm going to answer a couple PMs, learn some Italian phrases and go to bed. More updates later. Also, the ZAP hunt video...hilarious.
