gonna be honest ....maybe its the nick you use here but i swear i thought it was yvonne for the longest time also till Gary corrected me! He was like WTH is Yvonne!?!?!
I think that might be it, Jo. the y and v right next to each other threw me for a loop, lol!

And with that, I'm off to bed. Long haul tomorrow, nervous about the interview, hope I'm able to sleep well.

I have to fess up to a total lack of creativity on that - I'm a first initial/last name kind of person all the way. :D

And as long as we're being honest, I always thought your name was Lilly, due to my own lack of imagination re: forum names.

I always liked the name Carrie anyway, so I am more than happy to go by my forum name lol. I't better than "mickie mouse" my older cousins used to call me. Besides we already have one resident rodent in the house :p

people call me rat... which, ironically, is a nickname i got for wearing Mickey Mouse gear, Karen....LOL or is it "Carrie" for real now? it doesn't matter to me as long as i can still call Joe by our special pet names...

Yeah you really should stop calling him Sling Blade... he's into straight Razors, not butterfly knives...

He prefers to be called by his native American name... "Quarter mod Joe"

It's not Lily? That's what I thought it was. I sure hope no one actually thinks Mookie is my name!

Hey all - I am coming here first to ask for some advise. I know if I go on the open forum the only answers I will get are Provari, Darwin, Reo, Provari, Darwin, Reo, Provari, Darwin, Reo and start another world war. Not saying I am opposed to those but I've never used any of them and many of you seem to have a lot of experience. So I would prefer to get the opinions/advise from my small local group. Plus if you give me bad advise I could probably find out were you live.....LOL!

My birthday is next month I would like to get a new mod. There are so many choices I'm completely overwhelmed. I have limited experience and don't know any vapers to help me out. Quick rundown of my little bit of experience. 808, Echo, Riva/KGO, IPro VV. I've used various cartos, clearos, emdcc, tanks, fluxos, phoenix, etc. I'm not technical in any way and don't know anything about box mods.

I prefer using my vv but the IPro is too big for me to use out of the house. I would like something smaller, vv, sleek, good quality and easy to use. Price range is $100 - $200. I know it's difficult to know what someone else would like but I would appreciate any recommendations you can give me.

Thanks!

Carrie is fine... there are already more than enough "Karen's" in the group? An you can call Joe whatever you want, but you better be able to duck quickly in case he throws a punch lol

For me, that's a no brainer. Provari, all the way. If you like a smaller mod and battery life isn't an issue, you can always get a mini. Seriously, I've dropped mine in the bathtub, completely submerged for a few seconds, after drying it out overnight, it fired right up and I've had no problems since. I love this thing.

+1 with Andy. i was on the quest for the perfect device for the first year that i vaped. i researched a bunch of them. ironically, after sitting at one of our meets with at least 4 guys who build mods, i realized that they were all using a Provari... i thought, "hmm. that must mean something". i figured that my research must have been accurate.
now that Mike has developed into a premier device designer i will be using his atty. i will, definitely, end up using one of his devices someday. until then, i will use his atty on my Provari.

As far as I'm concerned... Based on your list of requirements... ProVari mini all the way. It's an amazingly well made device, great customer service and honestly, everything else has loads of compromise.

If you want thinner, then the infinity pro is a nice performer as well... Less money, a bit more spartan in features, but it vapes up a storm. It's a fair amount taller, but slender. Requires two batteries as well.
