you would have LOVED VF then.........not everything that went on there was beyond making me a little nervous just saying LOL
haha, actually fun fact - I spent 3.5 years in the seminary preparing to be a priest. I left on by my own accord though. Don't worry I can still hear confessions... but forgiveness is another matter altogether... ;)

usually we get some samples from different vendors and have a big taste test. we have had many meets where each of us has gone home with different bottles than we arrived with, but it is never an organized thing.

Cool, I just have some tried and "not for me" juices sitting in the fridge that would prob. like a new home. I will bring them along for whomever would like them

Oh yeah I'm gonna bring some stuff to give away....I can't arrive first time empty handed :) I'll add a Trippy Tip to the general door prize if you folks have one.

Andy and I will be in the toolshed out back you are welcome to come say hi to us also! (its a basher thing LOL)

Sigh, I'm so glad my wife doesn't read these forums...she'd be like, um, wtf, exqueeze me, baking powder!?!?!

So, an interesting tidbit of news from today... I was notified of a job at Fort Drum that is basically mine if I want it. It's a position in the federal government starting as a GS09, but I think I can get hired on as a 12. I would probably live in Northern Syracuse and commute. I've done the job while wearing the green suit and I have previously worked for the folks that are doing the hiring. I think it's kind of a no-brainer. Yes, Fort Drum and the commute will both suck but the pay and position are too good to pass up.

Wow - that is a long commute as an every day proposition! (Rat - I think Andy is talking about the ~80 mile commute from Syracuse to Fort Drum).

I can understand that the job sounds too good to pass up though Andy.

it always seemed so close when the A-10s were buzzing over the dorms when you were trying to sleep, or recover.

The commute I've gotten used to is 30 miles that takes an hour. 70 miles down an empty interstate shouldn't be any worse, I figure. Plus, I can't find anything in Rochester! It's crazy!

Thanks, J!

Fort Drum should be a no brainer at GS15, anything less and it's punishment. If you're gonna live in Syracuse... try to get in at Lockheed Martin
