Why get anything else if it's working for you? Of course I didn't take my own advice but I have an MVP and a Vamo and some other stuff that I do use periodically but I mostly use my Ego twists with either a T3 or an Evod for most of the day. I got a Protank yesterday. They don't look too dorky on an ego since they come with the transition ring. I'm not at all sure I like it yet though.
The only thing I really keep thinking is that I'd like to be able to check ohms to rebuild my coils, and I'd like a little better battery life... 1300 spinners would be great, but then when I put 2 in my cart I keep thinking, "but a Vamo and a couple batts is almost the same price".

So I've settled into a comfortable routine with my 650mah spinner batts and T3's, and don't really have any complaints (aside from the fact that the T3's are temperamental, but I do have the quarks figured out and under control). I get all the flavor and vapor I want out of my set up, and really (REALLY!) like the size/form factor. However I have been on the fence for months now. There's the VAMO, the Lavatube V2, the SVD, the ZMax V3 telescopic, and the SmokTek SID (along with a myriad of other devices, but those are the only 5 I'm considering)... Thinking a Kanger ProTank or VapeOnly BCC (if you haven't already figured out, I'm a bottom-coil fan-boy) might be less "fiddley" and rock on one of those devices. I'm just wondering, am I missing out on some vapey-goodness by sticking with my current set-up, or would I just be buying for the sake of buying if I decided to upgrade? I'm budget-conscious, but am open to the idea of less-fiddling/more-vaping if an updated set-up would provide that. I'd really like opinions from those who are bottom-coil fans using one of those 5 devices, but will gladly entertain the thoughts of those "vape-masters" out there who may be thinking "but he didn't even mention a hybrid" lol... Thank you for your reading/replying time in advance!

I'm a newbie, but a quick study and I am a bottom coil fan girl. I think the flavor is much better in one. I use T3"s but just ordered (4) protanks and a vemo. Here is why, I tried a friends protank on a lavatube... I think it was a much better flavor. I chose the vemo for the variable wattage because I also own a dct and a few ce5's and switching them around for flavor changes should be pretty seamless. Additionally the vemo was well priced at fasttech. I tried my ego and t3 against his lava a protank with the same juice. I would say his was better because it had more flavor and was cooler ( not as warm). I personally prefer a cool vape and lots of flavor. I know many reviews talk of a nice warm vape and they, I believe, would just adjust either PV to produce that. Anyway that is one newbies thoughts. Of course there is always the idea you need a back up for your back up and something to share with a loved one who smokes. So to upgrade and have hand-me-downs available is a plus for me too.

Vaping is vaping. If you are happy with what you have...If you buy another set-up, your "fiddling" will only increase.

Seriously, if you like what you have, stick with it. In 5 months I started with some ego bats, then got a 650mah twist. Shortly after I got a 1300mah spinner. Shortly after that I got a provari mini with extension. Shortly after that I got a Tatroe provari ring and a 18650 bat. (Which I might ad am waiting for vape mail so I can put that 18650 in my mini). Not to mention all the tanks, clearos, cartos that I have. And you dont even want me to name all the juice i have. Once you start it is hard to stop. I seriously am thinking about a compulsive buyers group meeting or something. Maybe give my credit/debit cards to my wife.

there's nothing wrong with having options. I use my mechanicals exclusively while i'm at home, typically with an RBA, but I still put a ego style and clearo on a lanyard to take to school... a 1300mah spinner and a vivi nova typically, with a 650mah in my purse for backup.

But really, if you're happy there's no reason to make things complicated. I just decided it's a good idea to get a few affordable mechanicals when everybody was flipping out about the FDA earlier this year.

Rocking a 650 unregulated for the 6 months I've been vaping and with the t3 it is good. One makes me about 4 hours before im switching up and charging. Would like to go all day with a 18650. I have had various items In my cart for the last two+ months but can't make a desicion. Since haven't seem any of then in person it's hard to decide. Mech or vv/w, kts vamo LT anyv sigeli itaste v8 kamry, ect. About every hot rba out there. all on the cheap side. no high end. I am getting very close to getting a kamry k200, I think the width and ergonomics will be better use wise, but then there's the portability issue. Pro tank of course and one of the agas. Keep thinking as soon as I order the next big thing will come out.. Well actually that's when the k200 hit the seen and I likey so I think I'm taking the plunge.

I have been using 400 MaH spinners and Evods. Works great for me, I like the small size, can fit easily in the pocket of cargo shorts or a shirt pocket. I have 2, so usually 1 is on the charger while 1 is in the pocket.

(I have a couple of "spare" 650 unregulted egos for the "blinking light" crises)

Whatever works best for you, enjoy it!!

I have a feeling that you will end up getting an APV before too long. We all like new toys now and again.

Look for one that fits your style and not just look at the high cost or bargain basement price.

Getting an APV usually means you will need to get a decent charger and recommended batteries. This is a good investment, period.

Stainless sounds great, but it is heavy. IMO, if you are sold on stainless, go Provari. They are very fine devices. Shop the classies or get a blem to save a few $$.

I love the battery life of 18650 sized batteries, but the devices aren't dainty. And, despite all the chatter, there is little difference between which battery container one is using when it comes to the vape for most of us.

My experience with the Chinese VV/VW devices has been good and I especially like EVIC and the CVI because they are lighter and I have colorful tubes. And, since they are somewhat economical, I'm not overly concerned about the longevity of the device. I'm on the lookout for a remake of the Ovale -- an amazing plastic light weight hand friendly VV device.

Happy Shopping.
