LOL!

I'll throw my favs into the mix!

A couple of 1300 spinners and your choice of a pair of clearos in this kit for $69.95... Ships from *within* the USA (NY) so no waiting for a slow boat from China... http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

Want to jump right in feet first? Yup! I love my VAMO V2 (I chain vape like a steam locomotive and no, it never gets hot):

If I were in the market for a *loaded* VAMO setup today (and I might be ordering a second one anyway) this is exactly what I would order:

VAMO V2 from Exhalevapors via ........'s coupon = $36.97. This is where I got my first one and yes, they are V2 (BIG gold spring and red gasket for flat tops in the top of the battery compartment). Ships from Texas so no "several weeks" wait:
http://.........blogspot.com/2013/03/in-stock-chrome-vamo-deal-3697.html

NiteCore Intellicharge i4 2nd Gen (yellow label) = $23.99 with free shipping. I got my first charger in a kit and wish I would have bought a good one right off the bat instead of trying to save a few dollars on a smaller, slower, generic one. Amazon has these too but this link is the best deal right now that I've found:
http://www.electronicstix.com/collections/mod-battery-chargers/products/nitecore-intellicharge-i4

Four genuine Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250mah via Amazon = $26.00 with free shipping. These are probably *the* most popular battery for VAMOs and other such tube mods. Panasonic stopped production of these so get them while they are hot!
Amazon.com: 4pcs Panasonic CGR18650CH 3.6 Volt Li-ion shipping free 18650 Battery 2250 mAh: Everything Else

It's true the Kanger T3, etc. will NOT fit on a VAMO, but pretty much everything else with an eGo or 510 threading *will fit* and if you must have Kangers the adapter/spacer is only like $2... just be careful not to crank it down super tight if you get one of these adapters!!! There were problems with some adapters pushing the center connector into it's isolator, possibly even ripping the tiny o-ring . Might be a V1 problem but I just prefer not taking any chances. I keep a Spinner (my backup) for Kangers, which I rarely use anyway.

Just buy some clearos, novas or whatever you like and some juice and you are good to go.

Everything you ever need to know about batteries (a MUST READ for beginners!!!): http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...scussion/355443-read-batteries-explained.html

Hey guys, Thanks for all the info. After reading all the advice here I went ahead and ordered a MVP. I couldn't find anyone saying anything bad about the unit except that it runs a cleaning cycle when the puff counter from 999 to 0. I had the twist in the basket, but with 2 batteries and the accessories needed, it was about the same price as the MVP kit. I like that it has a long battery life and it operates as a passthrough if i do forget to charge it. I like the look of the box mod a lot better that the cylinder style also. I'll let you know how it turns out.

My thoughts exactly, if you buy only 1 Ego Twist than that's one thing. But when you combine two Twists the price difference makes the MVP a much better value, considering the features.

The only reason to go for the twist is that you could buy one and have a low entry point, or you prefer a more cig looking device instead of an elegant box.

Look forward to hearing how it works out.

This isn't rocket science. Most suppliers actually provide some detailed instructions on how it works. Watch a video or two and anyone who can operate a laptop can sure as heck learn how to vape on a Vamo or any model PV for that matter. Just my 2 cents worth.

Actually after receiving my Vamo for the first time ever I'm quite impressed with the instruction manual. Translation to English was done very well and it covered ALL aspects of the PV. A blueprint for other PV manufacturers to follow IMO.

I started off with a couple smoov 808 cig a likes and upgraded to a twist about a week later. Honestly the sales guy pushed the 808 on me and I was really ready to start with an ego-c or t. I wish I would've just gone with my gut because had I done so if probably have a vamp or evic by now, and is be happy.

The evic is a nice piece to have. I however do find that I wish I would have gotten a Provari just for some of the safety features it has over the evic.

Word on the Forums is the Evic is fragile.

I don't like fragile APV. When I pay around $100.00 it has to be durable and survive a fall.

Dropped mine a couple of times. Nothing broke still working like a brand new one and looks the same too. Guess if you use it as a hockey puck it will break.

I promised that I would update when I got my MVP in.

This unit is great. The kit comes with everything you need to vape. The VV is excelent and lets me dial the voltage in to what I need for various juices. I also ordered a Kanger EVOD with it because I wanted to compare the top and bottom clearomizers. Doing some research while waiting for my unit to come in I got kinda nervous. I found people saying that the EVOD would not fit on the MVP without an adapter. This might have been a problem with early production runs, but not with this one. The EVOD works perfectly with this unit. Both clearos are great and produce excellent vape, but I'm finding that I prefer the BCC's because I enjoy the cooler vape.

The only problem I had was when vaping Copper Creek's Voo's Broo(in the EVOD), I was occasionally getting a horrible burnt taste which after awhile was present with every hit. This was because I was vaping Boba's at 4.6v and it was quickly fixed by dialing down the voltage. Not really a problem, but I find myself chain vaping now that I don't have to worry about charging the battery every 15 minutes(eRoll).

I still use my eRoll when I'm out of the house. It's a great unit to start vaping, but the voltage drop off is annoying(4.2v fully charged to 3.2v when the battery stops working). I find myself putting the battery in the PCC 4-5 minutes after use. I see that as the only drawback to the unit because of battery memory causing the unity to degrade faster than I would like. Not really a big deal seeing that the batteries cost $9, but annoying still. I don't worry about battery memory effecting the PPC because I fully discharge and charge the unit. BTW, if you vape and don't know what battery memory is, I would read up because your charging habits can be affecting your battery life.

I'm highly impressed with the MVP. Now that I don't have to worry about having a good unit, I can move on to getting a nice tank system and comparing that to the clearos to see what I prefer.

Thanks to everyone for the great advice!
