Roughstack Discoloration

I just noticed that the tube on my Roughstack is becoming discolored. I rubbed some alcohol on it and some grayish stuff came off but it's still there. Is it tarnished? Is there a way to remove it? Thanks. =D

You can clean it with Brasso. It will make it look brand new.

Aluminum tarnishes with that dull gray so a little polishing periodically is normal.

Thanks, I don't really know much about tarnished metal. I did some googling and found an article saying vinegar, water, and salt would work but I'm skeptical. =D

I use Brasso all the time and can say from experience that it works well. There are other products that you can find if you do a little research on the net. Brasso is readily available at any supermarket, Lowe's, Home Depot...
