So I've been trying to figure this out to no avail and I was wondering if any of you guys could comment as to what my problem is.

At the moment I have two vaping devices. The Mega Sit and Go and the Roughstack (With both 18350's and the 18650 3000Mah batteries). The Mega Sit and Go produces a ton of vapor and throat hit on my low resistance cartomizers and atomizers. The Roughstack, while the batteries last much longer, fail in comparison. They just don't have a whole lot of "oomph" when it comes to both vapor and throat hit. The 18650's make things much better, but nothing even close to what the Sit and Go can do.

Why is it that this mod with a gigantic battery can't even match the performance of the little Sit and Go that was mass produced in some Chinese factory? I don't think anything is "wrong" with my Roughstack, I just don't think it can really satisfy me when I need a good and strong vaping session. Is there some resistance, wattage, or flux capacitor that these stock big batteries have that the Roughstack doesn't... Or perhaps someone out there with these two devices has a different opinion and something really is wrong with my RS. Either way, I'd be happy to see what people think could be the problem/explanation.

P.S. I also vape at 6v and 7.4v with HV atties and the experience is on par with vaping a regular 510 atomizer. I suspect this is because the HV atties sort of make vaping at higher voltages pointless. Does madvapes sell a regular atty that can be vaped at high voltage without it "turning off" after 3 seconds of holding the button? I'm really craving something that feels like throat cancer at this point, lol. I need something that hits hard.

I don't own either of these devices but I'll throw in my 2 cents...

In theory, both of your devices should "hit" about the same but I'd think the roughstack would hit a bit harder. Unless, you're talking using the sit n go as a passthrough, then I can see it maybe having a bit more power. You're roughstack could possibly have a bad connection somewhere. Do you have Noalox on the threads? That can make a world of difference in the continuity of an aluminum mod.

As for 6v vaping. IMO high res atty's are useless. No real point to them when they hit about the same as a regular atty at 3.7v. I vape almost exclusively at 6v with Boge 3-3.2 ohm cartos and it gives me enough throat irritation that I have to put my mod down sometimes.

Noalox? I'm not sure. I know that for the atties to work with the roughstack, it really needs to be screwed in ultra-tight for it to even fire.

No, I use the Sit and Go like I would any other device, right off its own power source. I'd also like to note that the Carto's and Atties get much hotter, much more quickly off of the Sit and Go then it does off the Roughstack.

I just ordered this off of Madvapes, think that'll do the trick without popping?

Thanks for your help, Dudeman. I appreciate it.

Something has to be up with your roughstack. I use mine with e2 cartos 2.5 ohm and the vapor production and th are almost more than I can handle (with dekang cuban cigar) If you have to screw it together ultra tight to even get it to fire then maybe your spring is a little light on pressure? I can barely get mine screwed together the spring tension is so hard. Mine is just the regular at 3.7v also. I would talk to customer support about this. A Roughstack is a vaping beast typically.

Well I just got my atty in the mail that's a bit higher ohm then what I've been using, I was vaping with 1640's last night when they suddenly stopped working. Put them on the charger, went to bed and now they won't work on this atty at all (sort of works with other atties and cartos, need to pump switch though). So I'm using two 18350's with this atty and in order for it to work you need to "pump" the power button. So one drag consists of me hitting the switch about 10-15 times to get a decent hit.

I just unscrewed everything and cleaned up inside a bit, it was a little greasy in there. Didn't seem to make any difference. And the spring seems to be tight, as it also takes me a while to really screw this guy in. I should also note that this RS is a replacement, the first one's screw that connected to the circuit board literally fell off. Uh, this is getting frustrating. I love Madvapes and all, but this little investment has caused way to many headaches.

EdIt: I understand that using this atty at 7.4 volts would probably cause the protection circuit to switch off the battery, thus the pumping of the switch. But at this point, its the only way to get a decent vape.
